PL W FA Premier League

Manchester United 4:2 Manchester City

Post-match discussion

Sun, 12 April 2015

Back home from a great day at the office, thoroughly enjoyed the performance from the team.

United have nothing to fear from the so called bigger teams - we are on an upward trend and I can see us beating Chelsea at home next Saturday.

United have tweeked tactics over the last Month and cut down playing passes between the defenders. Even De Gea is now mostly kicking out long. When we do pass out from the back Carrick or one of the full-backs are first options to start building attacks.

That is true, we don't play it around at the back like we used to, but even when we moved the ball forward, Man. City, with their high energy and intensity, closed down our spaces quite quickly whilst our players were a bit slow in moving the ball about. It was only after we conceded the first goal when we started to move the ball around with a higher tempo, and when we equalised, we controlled the game with our passing and movement to full effect.

Sky Sports break out FIFA 15 to show Fellaini was onside.

Did we have a home grown player on the bench yesterday? I didn't see the sub line up at the starts of the game.

We should not forget about the medical miracle we all witnessed today: A clear yellow at the very, very least. (PS; I did not create the vine, credit to creator)

Haha, Focusedplaingelada on Reddit(credits to him/her) has reversed the GIF and it's even better that way

Only just managed to get online since the match, and I just wanted to say that I think that was the best performance from a United team in years. First 15 minutes aside we just completely destroyed them, had complete control and never looked in any trouble at all. What a beautiful beautiful day.

Goooood morning my fellow Cafe members, and WHAT a morning it is. The sun is shining, the birds are tweeting, everyone is smiling. OH HAPPY DAYS

I like this. I like this very much. Though I think the other side of Manchester is probably very "blue" today.
