I genuinely think the manager needs to consider playing some of the young guys....
Two teenagers and two 20 year old's on at the end of the game not enough for you? We'd probably have had Mainoo as well if not for injuries.
I personally think the quality and confidence of the players is more of an issue than their age.

Put Cunha, Mbeumo and Delap or any half decent striker in this side and no way we 15th. Biggest problem is we can’t score goals. Then once Onana has his gamely feck up. We are up against it. Bruno the saviour once again. Feel for Hojlund. Guy looked good at times last season. His confidence is rock bottom and in football and can be hard to recover. Needs a loan where there is less pressure or just a new start

If some of the younger players have that competitive edge to them, especially after seeing what much of the starters put out, it would be worth a shot to put in more of them.

IF.......and its a very big if..........Amorim is still here in 2 years time I dont see any of that starting eleven (bar Dorgu) playing for him.

That 1st half/60 minutes was an absolute disgrace.

Why we play better going behind? I think it is both on players and coach. This United always starts slow, it is like they are trying to get into the flow of the game, wtf? Once we go behind them the players and coach decided "Ok" let's attack more. Every game is the same, why can't Amorim goes into a match thinking of attacking. Has this control won us any games? Time to wake up! Amorim. Premier League isn't Portuguese league, any team can be beaten.

No, I was saying he shouldn’t be anywhere near the starting lineup at all
And he generally hasn’t been. Except for an injury crisis. Amorim clearly doesn’t rate him over Mainoo or Collyer, but when they’re out you have to play someone in there and it was him or Eriksen.

I've said this elsewhere. Time wasting, aggro and three brutal hacks of our players came before the dive. Played like tevez did against us
That's Young still though - he was always had a bit of that about him before he came, while he was here, and after.

Our players need to trust themselves more. We’re an emotional team, and every time the opponents score, it hits us hard.

Our defense has been poor. Silly mistakes on the ball and bad positioning have cost us. Yoro should start, it’s easy to see shades of a young Varane in him. Maguire and MDL looked really nervous today, and maybe Lindelof could surprise us in this new setup.

Our midfield has been nonexistent for large parts of the game. Bruno drops too deep to help with ball circulation, which makes him less effective, and he has lost the ball in dangerous areas. I don’t understand why the club hasn’t prioritized signing a ball-controlling midfielder in recent transfer windows. Someone who can keep the ball moving and beat the press would be a game-changer for us. It would free Ugarte to focus on his strengths and allow Bruno to return to his natural #10 role. Mainoo, while talented, doesn’t seem to have the skills to become the midfield maestro we hoped for, as his abilities suit a more advanced role.

Our attack has been disappointing to not say pathetic. Only Dorgu showed consistency throughout the game. Dalot played it too safe, recycling possession repeatedly. He needs to be more expansive or risk being replaced in the summer. ZZ has potential but is struggling; he’s misplacing simple passes and not driving attacks as he should. Hojlund is hard to assess. The team isn’t finding him, and he’s not making things easier with poorly timed runs and indecision on the ball. Obi deserves more time on the pitch moving forward.

I’m disappointed to see so many fans calling for Amorim’s head. He can’t control players misplacing simple passes. His system clearly doesn’t suit this group, but Dorgu’s performance shows that, with better players, the system could work—just as it did in Portugal. Unless relegation becomes a serious threat, Amorim should be given time to build a proper team. We can’t afford to derail the trajectory of another promising manager. How many of those players would he consider signing if they were playing for another team? None.

He absolutely doesn’t have to play someone as crap as Casemiro

Dreadful for 70 minutes, good in the last 20 after substitutions. Over 90 minutes, we didn’t deserve anything more than a draw.

Classic Moyes. In cruise control so they retreat, defend and concede. Same throughout his career.

Did I say how many or at what stage of the game?

Horrible first half. We just can't keep starting a midfield with three slow players in the PL.

Bruno - Slow
Casemiro - Really Slow
Zirkzee - Slow
Ugarte - Pretty Quick.

Imagine if we had started Gana for Casemiro and Decoure for Zirkzee, it would have been a totally different game.

Young was a prolific diver when he played for us and he hasn't changed.

2 -2 was a fair result.

So, was this a promising and impressive hard fought comeback or was it just fortunate and Everton self destructed ?

Are *you* mad? He literally started today
This is what you said though "and he’s still picking that big waste of space Casemiro in his starting lineups. God only knows why he continues to get a free pass after stinking up the midfield for so long."

You're clearly insinuating it's been a protracted thing, and that's frankly fever-dream level fantasy.

I'm not having it that you're a United fan. You've posted a lot of negative stuff about the manager, wanting him fired if we lost today and are now arguing a blatant dive is a penalty.
That's never a penalty, can show any angle you want. Dive everyday, agree

Being 2-0 down and getting a point is big. It was a fecking dark first 60min. I take any positives I can get at this point this season. Getting a point here increases our chances of winning against ipswich. The mental state of the players will be better ands thats huge.

Now let's get those 3 points next game!

I think Yoro and Ugarte are starters in 2 years.

Dorgu was probably our best player today.

Bit of both, they tired. We dropped Bruno deeper and he gave a Carrick style performance and dictated our game for that short 20min period. The problem with Bruno is that he can be brilliant in that position when he's on it. But he also drops some clangers every now and then and puts us right in the shit. Which isn't a good combo when you have Maguire the slug behind.

Yoro didn't start so I get a pass on that.

You could be right about Ugarte - didn't he play for Amorim at Sporting? If so its possible he'll still be around but maybe not 1st choice by then.

Really not sure what to think of that game.

Feels like I should be happy with a point but it’s a bit depressing that we cannot control a game of football comfortably against ANY Premier League team atm.

Fantastic second half. Dog shit in the first.

That was not a fantastic second half by any stretch of the imagination. It was, at most, a very good last 20 minutes (plus extra time). We didn't even have a shot on goal until Bruno scored, and up to that point, this looked to me like United being pretty much as bad as they had been in the first, while Everton took the foot off the gas pedal a bit.

A couple more wins should be enough, 40 is the magical number, but usually it is lower. Thankfully, the other teams are terrible as well.
It’s very, very rarely 40. Can’t remember the last time you actually needed 40 to avoid relegation.

I’m not expecting Leicester or Ipswich to get to 30+ this year either. And certainly not 40, they’d need to go on an amazing run to get 23+ in 13 games.

Great come back. Hope this stabilises things for youngsters to be given opportunities.

I know, just saying that 40 is considered as safe. I also expect that it will be a lot lower.

A couple of wins, and a few draws will see to that.

He definitely hasn't but given that both Maguire and De Ligt had his arms and hands involved, I'd say we were quite lucky that it has been reviewed. From my perception so many pens like that get given.

I think, Everton would have deserved the win given that we didn't really offer anything of note for most of the game. Then it slipped away from Everton it got frantic. 2-2 is fair at the end. But the takeaway from this game has to be that this team has to do sooooooo much better. Starting by finally adding more intensity.
