Think Gary Neville summed it up during commentary. The players make a decision what to do when they receive the ball at their feet rather than having a set out plan to follow. This is indicative of ETH's set up but several of our players are not particularly adept or have the footballing IQ to make this work. It's maverick at best.
I hope with Amorim he sets out the groundwork tactically so our players have a sense of what part of the field is theirs and what their jobs are. Feels like we guess every game and that's why we have moments where we look like we could win and then instantly get pegged back and look like a side from the National League could teach us a thing or two.
