Think Gary Neville summed it up during commentary. The players make a decision what to do when they receive the ball at their feet rather than having a set out plan to follow. This is indicative of ETH's set up but several of our players are not particularly adept or have the footballing IQ to make this work. It's maverick at best.

I hope with Amorim he sets out the groundwork tactically so our players have a sense of what part of the field is theirs and what their jobs are. Feels like we guess every game and that's why we have moments where we look like we could win and then instantly get pegged back and look like a side from the National League could teach us a thing or two.

It probably goes to show that it doesn't matter who the Manager/Coach is, our attackers are shit in terms of converting chances or creating them for themselves. Amorim can't really change that either so we still need to replace Rashford, Antony and get a striker that will score enough if given the ball or chances laid on for him.

Fair result in a tight match. Lots of mistakes on both sides, but no one had much time on the ball. Rashford was putting in a defensive shift today, but Garnacho. Man, he was annoying to watch. Casemiro doing good stuff in the midfield and Bruno was ok as well. Ugarte though with a real stinker. Rasmus runs and works, but he is still not getting set up right. Onana with a couple of bad decisions today. Defense was doing good and Mazraoui was spectacular. Amad, Lindelof and Zirkzee did´nt bring much, but neither was bad. We really missed Eriksen to unlock the Chelsea defense today, and to keep us in possession.

Not a bad point considering where we're coming from. If Ruud wins his other 2 he's done brilliantly.

It’s quite odd isn’t it. He picked out Bruno at the end there, but missed Amad completely when he is in perfect position for a chip or any pass through to him. I called for him to be taken off for amad, I’d rather rashford stay on cause today Garnacho was so off it.

Zirkzee as I said above is completely nervous, you can tell. Shys away from the ball, small simple mistakes. Signs of a player who doesn’t feel confident. Amorim got his work cut out but it’s possible.

I'm happy as i expected a defeat but fortunately Chelsea had a really bad day. About us, i had a feeling we wouldn't score a goal even if we played 5262272626 minutes. What a poor set of attackers we have. Not a single creative one. Rashford is absolutely useless, Garnacho too, and honestly Zirkzee is a total disaster. The guy is so slow as a summer traffic jam, has no idea about one on one situations and has no idea where the goal is. Amad is just an average winger. Honestly, i see only Hojlund who should be kept as he at least has potential, all the others should be replaced. The defense was okay. Amorim has a tough job for sure.

Garnacho isn't regressing, he's an inconsistent young winger. He can be extremely poor but he does keep going even when he has a bad game. Where his ceiling is I've no idea but inconsistent performances are to be expected of a 20 year old winger.

Exactly, he's probably our biggest threat at the moment so has to play, when in reality he should be coming on for a really good player and starting occasionally. Playing all the time might fast track his development, but he's going to play poorly now and again.

There was somebody saying he doesn't have confidence in the front three. Two are young players who shouldn't really be starting anyway, the third has always been patchy and was awful last season in particular.

Making excuses is weak I agree. But I find it annoying when people only focus on the big decisions or VAR. Constant small ref decisions like not giving a yellow or a foul on the half way really affects momentum. The amount of games where we get fouled 3/4 times only to receive the first yellow is infuriating.
