Two mediocre teams gave a 1-1 result.
Expected a loss so I’m OK with it.
Ugarte, Zirk are disappointment.
Overall: Bleh.
They're clearly not mediocre

And we did ok considering...

I watched that whole game and I couldn't say who played well enough to be voted MOTM. Mazraoui was okay, but barely did any attacking. Garnacho incredibly wasteful and panics when he gets a chance. Hojlund is so easy to knock off the ball and needs to be stronger or he will be a 5 goal a season guy.

One of the worst ‘expense to quality’ ratios of a game I’ve ever seen.

We’ve somehow managed to spend over £100m on a forward who can’t release the ball until all the opportunity has gone and a forward who can’t beat a defender with a ten yard head start when he’s played 80 minutes less than him. Great stuff

Watching Caicedo today and thinking we could have signed him several times really depressed me

Our football IQ is as low as ive seen in years.

You would think we had hardly played together, just an absolute shambles of just kick and rush football.

Ugarte looks like a deer in the headlights in the league. Hopefully, just an adaptation issue.

A real wasted opportunity there.

Some positives too but that was a great chance to stay in touch. Set pieces continue to kill us and we concede them far too cheaply.

There are moments in the game where the players decision making is like watching a young kids game at a weekend where they don't fully understand the game.

Team play far too slow, which seems to be instructed as Bruno spent a large part of the game signalling at the defence to take there time / slow it down.

Garnacho, as other have said was awful. Not sure if overplaying him as a youngster last season has finally caught up with him, or he isn't as good as we are hoping for.

Hojlund full of running, never a 70m striker in a million years though. But five times the player Zirkzee is, who looks like he has won a competition to play for the team.

All a bit meh, but we are not a very good football team and have a very average players.

Ugurte will come good I reckon.

Enjoyable game. Bruno seems to be getting better. Mazraoui is a very good buy, hopefully he can play on the right soon.

Bizarre take, commentator on my feed was considering him man of the match. I thought he was very good today

Not great, not terrible. Squandered chances which has become the norm this season. Wish we had won, but not the worst result in isolation. (the problem is I've said that a few times this year.)

Ruud or Bruno needs to talk to Garnacho about his petulant attitude.

Zirkzee still yet to do anything to change my mind about him.

One of the first things i hope he does is find/train another corner taker.
Even free kick taker. Bruno has scored 1 free kick at Utd!!!! One!!!! And he stands at the front of the queue every time. Some one should be having a word

Battled hard for a point with little class on show. I felt chelsea looked the better team for large parts.
Mazz was however a beast.
Hojlund and zirkzee are not good enough.

Same with tenHag. Hard to apply any pressure. Poor in attack. To many backward passes and slowing down tempo.

McTominay and his goals are missing and his haters will agree with that.

Clearly need a top, clinical striker and a winger.
Also, two midfielders.

Thought Chelsea were shite, there to be beaten but we lacked composure in our passing and as usual in the final 3rd.

I hope to Christ Amorim benches Rashford and looks for the two attackers needed in the transfer market.

Any of the top 3s forwards would have taken that Garnacho chance.

Mazraoui motm.

For all of Chelsea's "dismantling" of United (Red Nev's word), they only really threatened from two set pieces. De Ligt got a few good blocks in.

We constantly look one or two passes away from brilliant chances. That Garnacho one at the end, slide in Amad and he's got an easy square pass for Zirkzee to mess up.

I'm taking encouragement from today.

Maz was the MOTM. There are times where Ugarte gets caught out and leaves the midfield/defence vulnerable.

Don't get me wrong, I didn't think we were great but surprised at all the negativity here and in the media. You'd have thought Chelsea completely outplayed us and we were lucky to draw.

Chelsea were poor too but I didn't come away thinking we're miles off Chelsea, who have received a lot of praise this season (I understand they didn't have their best day either.).

Our front four can't shoot for shit, and we can't hold on to a lead under any circumstance.
This is exactly how I feel.

Turns out though if you spend £300million on a bunch of players who have never scored more than 10 goals in a season in weaker leagues, you end up with players that can never score more than 10 goals in the Premier League.

Who knew?

We were good today! If a certain bald Dutch man was still in charge we'd have lost that by 4 goals. It's nice to go into games knowing we might get a positive result instead of knowing we won't win.

Fair result. Cagey, physical, sloppy from both sides. Chelsea looked more organized and likely to score at the tail end, so to defend well enough and come out with a draw ain’t too bad.

Shocking lack of composure when finishing today. Just swiping at the ball when there's time.

Amorin has his work cut out. I think Chelsea were the better team overall so can't be unhappy with a draw.

On a side note, how dreadful was the referee today? He looked very nervous.

Maz was the MOTM. Flet

Yes i agree, but i said he was in contention. No idea where deer in headlights came from today. Won it regularly and played some lovely passes, its no coincidence casemiro looks reborn next to him

Could have won this match. At the same time, I think we see quite clearly that Chelsea is a team with better players and that has a higher top level than United. Unfortunately, we have a way to go before we have a top five squad.

I only saw the second half and we looked decent compared to Chelsea. A better attacking system and this team can do so much better.

If Garnacho and Bruno had some composure we would’ve won easily.

Zirkzee ain’t it. That Bruno flick on was gorgeous and he made a right mess of it.

It's a decent result and some of the players were alright. It's just so annoying as Chelsea literally came to Old Trafford begging to get beat today.
