From the replay angle behind him, it seemed uncatchable to me. Maybe he could have done better but I thought it was a good cross. That was mostly Onana stuck on his line and not coming to collect or parry it. He was in a great position to do that but he hesitated and then he couldn’t make it.
On the bright side, even at our lowest ebb Spurs have found a way to still be worse than us.
He incorrectly failed to send a Brighton player off which would have changed the game massively.
Regardless it changes the game entirely. We are not going to go down the route of blaming the refreee for our results when they are this poor
He always works hard, but we need more than that. We really need to bring in competition for our midfielders/10s.It was difficult to find a number 3. At least he tried and worked hard.

Even a single January signing in any needed area would go a long way to help ease the stress. On the condition of course that it isn’t a ridiculous price.Spot on. But we have zero solution to fix these fundamental issues. It’s getting worse (fatigue, lack of intensity, etc)

We are awful. Onana can never start again.
Not my point.Even so, we should be beating Brighton at home, we shouldn't need players sent off to win matches.
Our players are the reason we lost, some are not good enough to be in the squad of any top 4 team, but get starts at United on a regular basis, overhyped, overpaid average players.
That ball up the middle over the top for their first goal was exquisite. Scholesian.
With what money and in January?INEOS needs to make a decision, either get wingbacks and a cm in, or find another manager. No point bringing Amorim in and have no players that suits his formation.
Who didn't see that coming?
Was so predictable, the optimistic spiel before the game just sounded like the naive belief of characters who are onscreen just to die in the movies.
We're a shambles.

Unpopular opinion: it wasn't anything vintage but I genuinely thought we did just about enough to get something out that game on any other day. We weren't terrible or anything. Some of our players just ran out of petrol around the 60th-minute mark and Onana's double clanger ultimately killed us.Started the game very slowly but I felt we started to build and we were deserving of our goal. We had a strong defensive unit and Brighton found it hard to break us down.
This was not a brilliant Brighton performance IMO. However, our usual lack of intelligence, communication and finishing let us down. After the first ten minutes of the second half we began to lose control and passing became a problem. It shows that this set of players have a real lack of athleticism and fitness to compete in the Premier League when there are midweek games.
Bruno and Ugarte played very well against Liverpool because they had the day off against Newcastle. Some of this team just can't compete without a clear break. A lot needs to change in this club but the decay has been there after so many years of ineptitude and not giving a hoot about the club as a footballing enterprise by the Glazers. It's a long way back from here.
Didn’t even complete a pass?Up there with the worst of the last two seasons. Not one shot on target from open play
Keeper didn’t make a save.
Have you considered uppers?I wish I could just hit a button and stop giving a shit.
At the point where this group of chancers has a ruining every weekend.
Whatever Rangers struggles are in Scotland they have been a very solid team in the Europa league over the last few seasons. I doubt they will be beaten on Thursday.Today’s game sums this team up. Play and work like hell for each other & the badge against Liverpool at Anfield and then for large parts of the game with 10 men against Arsenal & the referee at the Emirates to then revert back to how we were before that Liverpool game.
Thursday night against Rangers and honestly no matter how bad they are, they will be coming down here with confidence that they can get a positive result.
Don't mean to sound cruel, but sometimes the bluster oversteps the mark to the point you can't help but think that.
Team of red shirts from Star Trek!
De Ligt, Ugarte, Collyer should be sparedI truly despise most of this team that if I was playing FM25 id be releasing pretty much everyone or for knocked down prices, there's bar Amad not one likeable player that endures me to this team
Not surprising really, they're just a better team right now. This is what happens when you put the system above everything, we're going to get results like this.
Thought Minteh was incredible for them today, that's what we need on the left and right wing backs.
I kind of agree with this but will say that Brighton were the better team even before we ran out of energy.Unpopular opinion: it wasn't anything vintage but I genuinely thought we did just about enough to get something out that game on any other day. We weren't terrible or anything. Some of our players just ran out of petrol around the 60th-minute mark and Onana's double clanger ultimately killed us.
