I'd take 17th if that means we get rid of half the squad. No intensity out there in the second half.

We had 1 shot on target all game and created feck all. I don't think we were getting anything out of that game today, regardless of the howler.

Who knows. We can't say that for certain because football is unpredictable and it only takes one cross into the box or one through ball or misplaced pass, and the whole game flips on its head. I agree that we didn't look particularly great up until that point, but Brighton didn't have a huge abundance of chances either. There were still 30 minutes to go and Onana made the task even harder. The mentality of players is different when the game is at 1-1 as opposed to when it is at 1-3.

Yeah, we weren’t good enough again.
But for the umpteenth game in a row, the officials micro-managed an advantage to the opposition, some decisions once again being atrocious

Can't we just start playing Amad at RWB
again? Maz apparently has played as a 10 before.

You can count on one hand the number of games, where we've not been out fought, out worked and outplayed over the last two years. How do we lose so many 50/50s? How is that every promising attack we have is blocked when it's easier to not hit the defender? Teams know if you show up vs united you'll win cause we barely have any fight in us!

The league is write off. We wont go down but we certainly won't finish in top 10.

The amount of crap to mediocre players that we've bought for astronomical sums boggles the mind. Our two biggest earners are frozen out and we have countless players that disappear for eternity cause it's easier to do that than actually play football for united (Shaw, mount, lindelof). It feels like ANOTHER summer where we need to get rid half the squad! What an absolute joke of a club we are.

Are you referring to the cross? If so, I think it’s more a great cross than bad defending.
That was mostly Onana stuck on his line and not coming to collect or parry it. He was in a great position to do that but he hesitated and then he couldn’t make it.

Further confirmation the squad needs major reconstruction to fit the 343.

Attempting to do so mid-season is troubling. I think the whole remainder of the season will be grim. Surely no Europe next season unless we blag a trophy.

Proper lower-mid table performance. Minteh andMotoma are quality. What is their value? We need a new GK too.

How can the club and the execs sit by and watch shitty f**king clubs like Brighton and Bournemouth have their day every time they come to OT?

I don't understand what was the point of bringing in Amorim halfway through the season when clearly what he wants to do needs time, training and players capable of executing the system? I'm not questioning Amorim's appointment, but moreso our lack of action in this window and what was the plan after the appointment?

Now his hesitation before joining is clear. But surely there must have been some promises? Compromise?

It's all good and well saying that this season is a write off, but we are United. We will be mocked, ridiculed and lines and lines written about our shortcomings. This is not Chelsea, where you can get beaten at home by Brentford like 3 years in a row and nobody remembers.

Biased referee also played a part in the defeat today. Not saying as an excuse for this shite performance, but I'm fed up with this. EVERY TIME.

I truly despise most of this team that if I was playing FM25 id be releasing pretty much everyone or for knocked down prices, there's bar Amad not one likeable player that endures me to this team

Onana cost us today. Too many mistakes. With the game at 1-1, anything can happen. But, once he didn't come from that cross, the heads started to go down. The third goal killed us.

Poor mentality from our players. Too many hiders.
He was atrocious but we wouldn't have scored a second... The whole team is awful.

What a shit performance, we had one shot on target imagine. Just a very poor side we are. Tbf Brighton have better players than our team and it shows, I would take Mintah, Mitoma, Baleba, Joa Pedro in a heartbeat. Would be very happy to let go Garnacho, it would be stupid not to take 50M if offered for him. We would signings now!! Atleast one winger on the other side to add threat to our attack alongside Amad and one Left Wingback is a must.

While he was rubbish , everyone in front of him was as bad . We created zero and never looked like scoring .

Yes exactly this. Kind if result and performance that ruins the rest of my weekend, but probably only a few (Bruno, Maguire, Amad) seem to be that bothered. On an occasion to celebrate the Kimg that was awful.

This team lacks intensity, athleticism and ability to play in any decent United team.

No passion, not enough running, no pressure off the ball.

Dreadful squad management of the last years has finally and fully caught up with us.

We need half the team gone. Maybe more.

Brighton weren't great. They battered us earlier in the season and didn't look like doing that at all today. However, we have so many clowns playing for us that teams are always likely to be gifted goals and that was evident again today.

Ref was fecking awful
Glad it's just not me who was thinking this. This seems to be a theme these days. We are shite anyway, but feels like we are always playing against 12 men. It's the little decisions, the lack of clear throw-ins, free-kicks, corners we don't get whilst the other team does. Our players struggle against 11 never mind 12 and mentality seems an issue so I can imagine some of them lose their heads and hope when they get nothing from the refs.

Onana is not a good keeper and should not be here next year.

Martinez looks a shadow of a player he was.

Dalot has not and will not be good enough.

Maz looks exhausted and needs a rest but we have nobody to play instead.

Mainoo has regressed somehow (maybe the contract situation?)

Antony is the most expensive waste we've ever had.

Zirkzee is not what we need but better than Hojlund.

Bruno is over 30 now.

Amad, Yoro, De Light & Maguire are the one players that I would keep, the rest can all go as they aren't good enough for any system.

I would dare anyone to suggest a manager who could get a tune out of these players as they look they don't give a feck or the feck they give is way below United standards.

Can we not? Please. I hate it when we jump straight to the referee. It's just a terrible defence mechanism. He das poor for around ten minutes and then he was fine for the rest of the game.

Brighton did feck all and we did feck all. Two mistakes cost us. Draw was a fair result.

I'm worried about our chance creation. Don't tell me that's because we don't have players because it's not.

Should have been down to 10

100%

I've just to got to this point with the team that I expect nothing, so a win is pleasant surprise.

The players are pathetic, most of us who see them every week know that. I also know we can't spend our way to improve the team, there simply is no money. I foresee Utd being bottom half fodder for few years, new managers will come and go but awful way we have recruited and accumulated a dreadful set of players have put us decades back so we must now take our medicine.

Seriously. The whole team was bad. GO-nana, Go-nacho and Mainoo was the worst, but Maz & Dalot and Yoro were not far behind. The rest were just sub par. To give Anthony and Højlund such bad ratings after playing only for a few minutes is not serious though. WtF should they have done? Amorim was not better than the team today. Why change so late when we need goals? Why no Eriksen to unlock the defense when everybody else could not do it?

Our left side attack is non existent and everything needs to go through Amad is no way to play. The club not backing the manager so far is also concerning
