@Snowjoe This is probably a question you might be able to answer. How much, in your opinion, is the Neo Destiny set worth (or how much would you pay)? Some of the cards are incredible and, for some odd reason, I have the shining Tyranitar from years back and have been quite tempted to go all out for one going on ebay. What d'ya think?
Unfortunately I have no idea on those ones, my knowledge on old school pricing isn't great as I haven't collected them. I know they look epic though.

Started one on Sun, as I never got around to completing it, and don't remember *that* much about the game. Playing with the dupes clause, no exp-share, and no using healing items in battle except for held items.
I'm still on route 1, and I've lost my starter(Litten) and the route 1 mon(Pikipek)! Though I still have the one I picked up in the outskirts(Wingull), and trainers school(Grimer), it was catching Grimer that done in Litten.

It's so savage. It can be going so well then one Pokémon crops up you don't have coverage for and it totally fecks everything. Emotional stuff.
Also @syrian_scholes were you still needing the opposite legendary? I totally forgot to do anything about it last time.
@Snowjoe what is the difference between Ultra Sun/Moon and Regular Sun/Moon?
Honestly I don't really know yet. I imagine there will be a story focused more on those Ultra Beasts again but doesn't seem to be much released about it yet.
Do you think it'll be more Black/White 2 (i.e. a new game) or Yellow/Crystal (definitive version)?
New storyline I think so probably more of a Black/White 2 vibe to be honest.
Not sure how excited I am about it though, Sun & Moon hasn't grabbed me at all.
I really enjoyed it. Thought it was a fresh take on the usual formula. Only complaint is that some of the trials were insanely easy, so while I understand it's fundamentally a kids game, a spot the difference where the difference is some chump running in front of the camera isn't exactly a replacement for a gym battle.
I'd love a proper championships post-game again though.
I'm probably going to give up on it, it's kind of a crap gen for Nuzlocking. The lack of HM's is brilliant, but on the flip side, there aren't many gen 7 pokemon that pop up handily, my current team is Wingull, Makhita, Bagon, Raticate, Grimer and Hedier. A good team, but incredibly boring(barring that incredibly lucky Bagon find).

Depends honestly. Unless they're totally mint and 1st edition then they won't be worth as much as you hope!
for anyone with Sun or Moon there's a shiny Tapu Koko to grab from the mystery gift option. Yum.

I've suddenly got the urge to play Pokémon. I haven't played it in a good few years but I've dug out my old GBA and have decided to play Leaf Green. The only problem is I can't find my charger! When I do start, I've decided to do an Ash/underleveled run. I'll only use the Pokémon Ash used in Kanto and I won't do any extensive leveling up. I'll be hacking in the two starters I don't pick of course. It's good for me because the Pokémon ash used were my favourites anyway!
I only really care for gens 1 and 2 so don't play any of the new ones. I need to buy Heart Gold, though. I also hope that sometime in the future they do a remake of Yellow with all the updated moves and whatnot, but, after completing Kanto, you can then go on to Johto. Reckon that'd be too much?

I think I'll have to. The action replay I was using to be able to catch both Bulbasaur and Squirtle has now decided to play up saying it doesn't recognise the game.
I've been having a wonder online and have come across a hack called "Pokemon Ash Gray" which looks good. I might give that a go.

No no, just a set for the binder. I'm hopefully going to buy the fresh sheets and peel them myself. Probably with the masaki and red/green gift set holo's too. I'm also going for 1st Ed Japanese Rocket Returns binder set. Had to buy another binder, it's getting ridiculous now! I have been looking for more of those Southern Island packs too, I want to replace my binder set with a set I opened myself plus keep a couple/few of each pack sealed.
