PL Matchday 3 | 31/08/24 - 01/09/24

Havertz did really well there tbh, thought the keeper made an excellent save

That's not really how it works, if someone kicks the ball away you still can't just kick out at the offender, the two incidents should be viewed separately. Think both players should've at least seen cards.
But he was trying to kick the ball before someone moved it.
It wasn't a random kick out was it.

That's a filthy touch from Hazertz. Great save from the keeper.

Saka staying on his feet was surprising, he usually loves going down.

Brighton are wide open for them to break on. Time and again.

You can't just boot someone though, even if Rice was being a twat.

The only reason he made contact with Rice at all was because Rice flicked the ball out and moved his leg directly into the position where the ball was. Had Rice not kicked the ball his leg would not be there.

This is just obvious.

The whole near post is free as Raya's on the floor and the Brighton player decides to shoot across goal..

Mitoma is horrendous. Does he ever beat his man?

What's wrong with this Brighton team? They have no idea how to play a man up. Just wide open constantly.

How are Brighton getting caught on the counter so easily against 10 men?

Just control the game and be patient..

It actually happened a couple times against United last season too, including Dalot taking two yellows at once for complaining
And did the caf meltdown when that happened or did you all just say "well technically it's the rules"?

Where's the rule that states if you continue to complain at the ref 1 second after he just booked you then you will receive a second yellow?

Dalots is a bad comparison tbh. Dalot got 2 yellows in the space of a minute for the same action. Rice was already on a yellow and was in dangerous territory.

It is very harsh though but so are all those types of yellows, sometimes they give them sometimes they don't. There's no consistency.

At this point last week I said I'll take the draw now. Watch that not happen again but the other way around.

Do you all not want Arsenaal to win? I'd far rather them win the title this year than City again.
Can't stand them tbh. City's wins are hollow, and there's still a decent chance they could be stripped of their titles.
