'Pep' Guardiola sack watch

City are bad, they wont win something this season. Completely limp and created feck all considering the players on the pitch.

They’re only in fifth though. If they get CL at least wouldn’t be the worst for them even if they get relegated at least they have CL
Nah if they're relegated they won't get a CL spot. The spots are basically invitations the PL and FA choose to fill. Technically the PL/FA could send who they like to the CL.

What is this? Like how are they so limp and lifeless? United weren’t threatening much but City never built any momentum during that game. They looked so complacent.

Bizarre.

He should quit. He is done in the premier league.

Shows how important recruitment is in making a manager successful. The quality of his squad has drops, so does the performances and results.

1 win in 11. I won’t be surprised if he doesn’t last the season
Well they would be leading by example, showing United that to be the best, you must be ruthless with decisions. If they sack Pep after all the success he's brought, (Minus the fact all the money spent) it would be overly ruthless to be sacked after a poor season.

Feel though, City make pick back up after December ends. Will be rough few weeks in Christmas.

Bizarre seeing them trying to scrape a 1-0.

Laughing to myself how they were about to bring Stones on and the crowd were singing his name then Amad happened…

I think they know their season is over and a big deduction is coming. I can't think of any other reason for such a drop in effort or mentality. If it was just results, I'd say fair enough but the lazyness and complacency is only explained by that.
Genuinely feel while theres been no decision they've been told "We're cooked" behind the scenes.

Look at his mannerisms and body language, even the way he’s talking. Dead man walking

Getting to the point where it may be insulting to Fergie to compare the two.

I saw them linked with Pogba and it makes me wonder where their recruitment has gone. Bringing back Gundogan is another weird move that city wouldn't have done 5 years ago. They're literally Rodri FC, change the club name and shirts.

If he has any pride left he's going to quit before the season ends.

The recruitment last couple of years hasn't been very good. They seem more interested in selling players and balancing the books then buying players. All those charges against them seems to have affected them even though they try to project a picture of defiance. They no longer operate with the gay abandon they used to previously in the market.

It fecking is. Fergie first built the club and then spent the last 10 years of his tenure working and winning under the restrictions brought on because of the Glazer LBO. Also, he was the manager of the club who did a whole lot then just to coach the team.

Guardiola to release cover version of Jurgen Klopp’s “im running out of energy!” coming soon to city fans this Christmas..

I don’t see him quitting or getting sacked.

It is a team that looks starting to look leggy. City used to compliment their positional game with aggressive running and pressing but they look so passive without the ball, other teams are now getting hold of the ball and getting at them. The integrity of their system is heavily reliant on Rodri also.

Pep will be given plenty of money to rebuild this City team before he leaves in a couple of years time.

I actually kinda feel sorry for him
I don't. After seeing his smug face while his cheating club wins everything in sight for fecking years, I've got no sympathy for him at all. This collapse is absolutely glorious, long may it continue.

Guardiola has never been in this position before. The only way he knows how to fix it is spending another half a billion on players. It would be lovely to have their transfer capabilities severely reduced in light of the charges against them.

I hope they have a rotten campaign and he leaves in the summer.

An amazing drop off. Their form will surely recover and they could genuinely still win the league, as Arsenal aren’t up to much and I could see Liverpool having a big drop off. Not sure about Chelsea either. Still, I’d say it’s looking unlikely now and this could carry on for a while.

This isn't just a blip. They're really bad.

They have had a few terrible transfer windows and it's beginning to show. They have also sold decent players in that time.
