OT EVACUATED | Device signed as having been recovered, could NOT be detected by sniffer dogs

fA should have really delayed the city game and then postponed there's...'but this is the FA after all
Not realistic.Apart from the fact that everyone would have moaned that they would have been doing favours for Utd..once again:rolleyes:,

Surely they would have evacuated everyone? There's still people in some of the stands!
They wouldn't have wanted everybody trying to get out at once, else it would have been chaos. So they'll be doing the evacuation based on proximity to the package.

Have to think that if they are abandoning the match, the 'suspect package' actually is a serious thing and not just a random bag that somebody left and forgot. :(

The match is abandoned or cancelled?

twitter said police experts were on the way, so they might not have investigated the package yet. Also, it'll be a small bomb, and it won't be dangerous for anyone in the opposite part of the stadium. twitter said they were walking around with sniffer dogs earlier too, so I'm sure they've gone through the parts of the stadium that are not evacuated too.

Stop spinning this into a joke for FFS. I don't see what's so funny here.

People always try lighten up a shitty situation, no one has been hurt and looks like the club and security have been on top form. Not a big deal to lighten the mood a bit.

Wouldn't want to play it this week with cup final. Especially if Man City win.
Don't think the fa (and other associations) would want to play it after the cup as players have to join up with squads for the Euros
Infact I think we would have to release the players for the squads?
I do recall we played spurs after the fa cup final once (1991?) but I don't think there was an international competition that summer

Our players are soon going to have PTSD after the West Ham game and now this!

On a more serious note hopefully its just a precaution and nothing sinister.

This is so fecked up, a fecking bomb inside a football ground. Amazing that some cnuts are joking about it in the thread btw, would have definitely been acting the same way if someone from the family was at the game.

Glad the evacuation took place, better to be safe than sorry.

Still not sure why the South Stand aren't allowed to leave ?!

That is odd, perhaps they believe the would be bomber is in there?

Huddersfield v Leeds was postponed last day last season and it was called as a 0-0 draw in the end. Can see the same thing happen here if it means nothing for the top 4?

It's unlikely to be a real bomb but authorities acted properly if in doubt. Shit end to a shit year either way.

What? That our matches are going to be called off on a regular basis?

What the feck are you on about?

I think he means seeing more threats of a similar nature at major sporting events. Hopefully won't happen again though.

Calm down dude. Nobody is dead or even injured.
Just inconvenienced.

People always try lighten up a shitty situation, no one has been hurt and looks like the club and security have been on top form. Not a big deal to lighten the mood a bit.

Alright alright. I just don't like spinning everything to draw parallel with our season.

Definitely the most entertaining first half at Old Trafford this season.

There's better safe than sorry and then there's evacuating 70,000 people because someone left a bag on the floor while they went for a piss and forgot it. Got to be more suspicion to it that that surely.

Obviously hope otherwise, really don't need bombs showing up at packed football matches, it's just sick, but don't think they'd evacuate a stadium and cancel a match without good reason.

Don't really see a point in rearranging the match though.

Lineup points still stand though, right? I got everyone right today.

Edit: Oh, FFS.

On my way home. Didn't even get in the ground.
