Great, as usual.

With how good Doku is 1v1 almost every team doubles-up on him. We were confident enough to leave Mazraoui isolated (sometimes even 1v2) and he still basically locked him down, outside of one or two moments.

Also can't be overstated how important he already is to our build-up and in bypassing the opposition's press.

Just an exceptional all-round footballer.

Probably the signing for the BL that's doing well

He was always good at Bayern but injured too much, glad that he hasn't having the same issues here.

I was so scared he would turn into a Telles signing, but he's been exceptional. Happy that didn't come true.

Maybe he is managed better here? Ruben mentioned that he doesn't train much and directly plays games.

Very good performance again. Our modern day Denis Irwin. Will play anywhere and give at least 7/10. No bullshit, no complaining, just gets on with the job.

Looked knackered coming off, playing wing back is physically tougher than RCB and it probably took it out of him.

Hope he's Okas Ruben seemed to suggest he was concerned about his fitness at the end.

Excellent at 1v1 defending and an outstanding dribbler. If Bruno's chip had gone in then Mazraoui would've got all the plaudits he deserved for his work in the build up.

Didn't know that, given the amount of matches played maybe he doesn't need to since he'll get fitness from playing them. Could be but it's still really early in his United career.

That was genuinely world class. Pinches the ball, rides the foul, rides another foul, lovely pass to set Bruno up 1 on 1.

He is what AWB fans used to think he was. He is actually good in 1v1s before needing to recover. And he is aggressive in defending and is so composed on the ball.

The blueprint of future signings this guy!

He's like the reverse Mount. Was worried about his injury record at Bayern (what I heard of it anyway) and thought with our injury problems he might struggle. Been a superb signing. More of this caliber of player please.

What a player he is.

Walks into every side in the league.

Just such a good all around footballer, who doesn't seem fazed by anything. As others have often said, you get more players like him, we end up being a top side again.

I wonder how worried we should be about his injury. Straight down the tunnel and was seen limping when he emerged from the changing room after the game.

Yeah, I don't want to shit on the parade, but Amorim confirmed that he has some kind of injury.

He also said that Mount did some unnatural movement which got him feeling something was wrong.

Every time something happens to him my heart is in my mouth. His injury chart from the previous seasons is not a pretty picture. Keep my fingers crossed each time he steps on the field as he is one of our most intelligent and technically proficient players. His versatility is an added bonus. We need him fit for the most part do well this season.

He did well because he's a good all round footballer and a consistent performer.
However, I don't love him in that RWB/RM role as it accentuates some of the weaker parts of his game.
For one, he's not a true ball carrier, which that role needs. He's actually worse than Dalot at this. I am also not convinced he has the body type hack the sort of long bursting runs expected in that role, which can lead to injuries.

Secondly, his passing options are severally limited there. Being a very good passer, hs still found solutions more often than not, but I can see why Amorim prefers an inverted fullback in the role.

I still hope Amorim at least tries him out in a pivot with Ugarte. His passing, technique and press resistance could be very well used there

Is he one of the biggest surprise performing signings in a long time? Felt like another old Ten Hag player signing, let go by Bayern, if you take De Ligt you can have him too for cheap, but he has been so good. Add that Bayern for the majority seems to only let players go who are past it

Maybe it was just me who were let down by ten Hags previous signings and their patterns, but I struggle to remember a player, who before signing I felt so "meh" about, who turned out to be the complete opposite

I didn’t realise he was this good. Never followed him much before he came to United but goodness me, he’s fecking class
You never really heard his name. But so good, probably the best value signing in the PL this season

Love that he just goes about his business and that's it.

Zero BS, zero reports about this and that (both on and off field) and doesn't attract unnecessary attention.

Quite nice for a change, when it feels like we've had an overload of players desperate to use any other excuse than themselves to things not going well.

Out of our new signings, the same can be said about De Ligt and Ugarte. Seems to me that they just thoroughly enjoy playing for the club.

When Doku megged him and still came back to win the ball (which was deemed a foul unjustly IMO) is why he makes it so easy to appreciate him. He never gives up

I remember that recovery tackle, brilliant defending, but the referee, as per usual, gives a free kick when a player falls over screaming, I don't think Maz actually touched him.
