Thanks.
That was absolutely brilliant! Is he consistently that good?

Throw enough shit at the wall, some of it will stick.Remember where you heard it first..!

I don't think we will sign him. The proposed transfer fee and the fact we have an abundance of wingers makes it seem like a non starter. Also I couldn't stand another summer of "why are we buying wingers and not central midfielders". Good player but not really a United type of signing.
For what I've read since we've been linked he's more akin to a Silva type of player than your orthodox Valencia/Nani style winger
Still someone we'd most likely use on the wing as we're not going to sacrifice Rooney for him and he looks very unlikely to play in two man midfield.
I realise some people have decided to follow me round this place mocking my every word but if you count the number of shits on the wall in say six months time you'll find there'll be a fair few; one of those sticky shits will be nani having left united and another is likely to be gaitan having joined.

Anything else?
Rodwell.
The problem I have now is that when you throw a lot of shit and most of it sticks people accept that as the norm and point out the ones that don't stick as a sign of failure.
Thanks.

Any reason why United would seek to get rid of one of their most important, and talented players, to bring in an unknown quantity, for a similar fee? What do they gain from selling a proven quality player to sign an unproven one?
Unfortunately I can see both of them happening too. I just think Nani is going to be Madrid or Barca bound soon enough. I think Gaitain looks good from what I have seen and I would be chuffed if we signed him, but I just feel we need to be adding quality to the likes of Nani and not replacing. Hopefully I'm wrong on this one, but I just have a feeling that these two are going to come sniffing and if/when they do, there's only going to be one outcome.
Neither Madrid nor Barca need Nani.
Didn't you hear? Nobody likes him, the players voted him PoTY because they felt sorry for him.
All I have to go off is YouTube videos unfortunately, but this is a video I posted a while back. It's obvious that he's technically very gifted.
It won't embed so I'll just post the link...

Rodrigo is a killer, will be an absolute star. What a player, he doesn't belong in this league and won't stay here for long.
He'd improve them both.
Rodwell.

Nani is unbelievably overrated by some on here. He plays well in, at best, half of the games he's involved in. That doesn't not cut it at Real or Barca and they have far better players.
No surprise hearing this from a City fan.
I am not a City fan. I am just not completely biased.
