NFL 2024 | Christmas Day Double Header

He engenders a lot of confidence in an NFL team to give him millions of dollars to make good life choices.

 Don’t believe in space

Only in ‘’Murica.
It’s as funny as it’s scary. Imagine what else you can make a person this monumentally dumb believe in or not.

I recon you could convince him that everything is upside down and we all therefore live life upside down. We are on the inside of the outside.

Not happy with Sorenson as the DC hire for the niners, also don't like that Staley will be on the staff. Underwhelming to say the least.

Very happy with that. You interviewed our DB coach Dave Merritt and although he said he wouldn't be looking to move with his children settled in high school, the lure of becoming a DC for a contender might have been too much to turn down. He also said this after the super bowl so perhaps that worked against him too.

“If you want to talk about the game, their offense went 3-for-12 on third down,” Merritt said. “Our offense went 9-for-19, but if your offense is going 3-for-12 on third down, is that Wilks’ fault? If your tight end who’s All-Pro, [George] Kittle, only has one catch for 4 yards, is that Wilks’ fault?... And then No. 11, who was trying to fight all game — Ako, I don’t know — he only had 40-something yards, was that Wilks’ fault?”

I know and like how can you not believe in space?

I encountered a flat earther in a facebook comment section who didn't believe anything had gone up any higher than aeroplanes. Guy didn't believe satellites were real. These people are out there, voting, multiplying...

Kiper released his mock 2.0 and had the Chiefs taking WR Xavier Worthy. He's run a 4.21 (!!) in the combine so he'll probably go up the board and get drafted before 32.

The Staley hire is a head scratcher, maybe Kyle wants him on the sidelines so he can ask his advice during difficult situations and then do the opposite.

The defence allegedly complained that Wilkes was too much of a departure from what they had the previous seasons, so maybe Sorenson fixes that. He was also involved in Seattle during the LOB days, so could be some pedigree there.

ST Coordinators: How about we do away with one of the most exciting plays because it might make us look silly and lose our jobs.

Inevitable, but it's official now

His press conference speech was quite something.

If Creed Humphrey gets a season ending injury at some point in 2024 I'd put money on Jason joining his brother in KC for one last hurrah.

Russell Wilson shenanigans

How hasn't your GM been fired? Just as bad as the Panthers GM who got booted.

I love Rome Odunze. That's it, that's the post. Man's gonna be a baller straight out of college.

Yeah the problem with Staley is he also had the same strengths and weaknesses as Kyle. Both creative play callers but struggle with in game situations.

Wilkes is a weird one. We had a decent defence all year but there were rumblings right from the start something was off. He's also rarely stated more than a year at any place so it might be a Wilkes thing. By all accounts they tried for the home run hire but since that didn't work chose the continuity option and promoted in house. With Bosa, Warner and Ward we should be fine.

The JJ and Rome hype is a little wild. Leaning towards the Broncs trading back at 12 because JJ McCarthy will be gone and the rest of the QBs are 2nd round quality or worse. Unless the DE Verse falls there as he might be a cornerstone piece.
