NFL 2024 | Christmas Day Double Header

Aubrey is 14-for-16 from 50+ this year and 24-of-26 in his career. He has a higher conversion rate from 50+ than he does from 30-39 (19-23) and 40-49 (17-19). He has a career 90% conversion rate overall (72-80).

With a few others attempting and making 60+ it can't be long before the NFL adopts a 60+ official category.

Nuts how easy some of them are making it look. His record attempt last week was awful though

It was hooked terribly but I think indoors he has a legit shot at 70 (or longer).

Aye. You could tell he just tried to absolutely leather it and got it horribly wrong. Reminded me of when I play golf

Yeh i hope that now there's officially nothing to play for we let him go for it a few times between now and the end of the season.

I likened his attempt to those we see from students on College Gameday, so amped for the moment and just run up there and whack terribly.

I think a few of the kickers in the league could potentially convert a 70 yarder in a dome. It's just pot luck as to if they will ever get an opportunity to do it. A lot of things have to align for the coach to say "feck it" at the end of the first half. I don't see any team doing it at the end of regulation to decide a game unless their season is over or their placing in the playoffs has already been sealed.

Looks like Rodgers is done.

"Being released would be a first; being released by a teenager, that would also be a first,"
It was a reference to a story last week by The Athletic, which reported that Johnson, 77, takes advice from his teenaged sons, Brick and Jack.

His form has picked up since a playoff place became a pipe dream. I can see Mark Davis pulling the trigger if Shedeur is out of reach.

That was dumb by Raiders to be honest. I havent watched Shedeur so I dont know if he's good enough or not, but next draft lacks the depth at QB and Raiders need a QB.
The issue is that Rodgers is almost done, he does not work with modern coaches, and so Raiders will need to pick a coach that can work with him. As a pocket passer, he is obviously one of the greats.

couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. :)

I think there are like 5 teams that could win the NFC. Packers & Vikings are playing so well and them being wildcards is going to feck so much shit up. Compare that to AFC where it's basically 3 good teams and then a lot of average teams

This officiating crew is pretty shit. Some bizarre penalties and non calls for both teams this game. Hopefully they ain't in the playoffs because they suck.

If I was a defensive player I would go down injured and not let them snap the ball
I think you gotta put some blame on Tomlin for not throwing the red flag. When your DBs nearby react like that it's probably incomplete.
