It’ll be Ten Hag now im convinced. Which seems remarkably sensible for us.

Ten Hag appears to be the hipsters choice. He is a massive gamble with no experience of our league or managing a team with a global status like ours. I just hope the fans give him the time he'll obviously need to change our club around...i fear most may not!
So who do we get, Ancelotti? The other massive favourite has had no experience of managing a team with status of ours.

I won’t get excited until some exclusive from David Ornstein on agreement with ETH. Can’t trust our club acting sensibly.

I don't think there's any way PSG would allow Pochettino to interview for the United job while he is still employed there. So, this "thorough" process would probably include Lopetugui and maybe Luis Enrique, who will include a caveat that he either cannot join until the winter or have to balance two jobs before a world cup. So you are essentially left with a choice between Ten Hag and Lopetugui.

Why is Ten Hag so blatantly name checked for the United interview process? Has anything like this ever happened? It would be quite an embarassment if he doesn't get the job at the end as it would obviously meant he failed the interview

Is this English thing real? Why are they so hung up over this?

The Dutch and also the Germans speak some of the most proficient English I have ever known
I actually find Pochettino harder to understand.

Ten Hag 8/11 now with SkyBet.

Poch and Tuchel the nearest contenders at 6/1.

Anyone worried about Poch might want to lump on at that to ease the pain if it happens

Maybe it's time we stopped the arrogance and getting hung up on our status as the biggest club, and instead focus on improving structure and building a good team that plays consistently well with a defined style. He seems like a good fit for that.

Are we confident that this will be announce before the Leicester game kicks off? Would be such a massive boost at the stadium and the players can't be not trying anymore

What makes people so certain Ten Hag has been chosen? This is far from over. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if it's being dragged out, so PSG have more time to sack Poch and for us to get him for free.

Pouch has managed in this league and he has also managed three of the best footballers (biggest egos) in the world...i still don't want him but let us not pretend PSG are not on or very close to our level at this moment.

I want Ten Hag but It's more in hope of what could happen rather than with any certainly. I don't believe my comment of the appointment being a massive gamble is wide of the mark. He will be under immense scrutiny 24/7 and the first time we lose back to back games the press will be calling him an unexperienced avarage manager that was given the job by the fan hype, the hipsters choice.

There's a lot of work needed for us to be turned into a title challenging team and it could take a few transfer windows for us to get close to looking like a Ten Hag team, I just hope he is allowed the time.

For me it should be Ten Hag vs. Luis Enrique. The latter would be my preferred option due to more experience with big club. But I don't think we can convince him to leave Spain job.

So, Ten Hag it is. :)

I agree but we are the biggest club but not in the right way, it's not arrogance but the truth.

We are reported on more than any football club worldwide and we haven't been relevant for the best part of a decade. Like it or not, the world will be waiting to report on his every move.

Klopp was the hipsters choice once.

So was Tuchel and Nagelsmann… but hey Solskjaer right? (woop woop)

I said it a few months back but have they quietly redefined ‘hipster’ to mean good? Because it seems a fair few of these ‘hipsters‘ turn out to be quite good, and all the ‘Premier League proven’ guys ultimately let us down like Moyes and Jose.

Get ready for the headlines if their darling Poch isn't given it.

"Man Utd stars outraged over management agreement!"

"The players have been left feeling ignored and frozen out of the process in the club's search for a new manager"

Really odd take...

- His experience in the league means fuk all. Pep,Klopp,Conte,Ancelotti,Mourinho etc etc. All came to the PL and won. What are you trying to say?
- no experience managing a club with global status? Who has? Who is available that has? Who has and has done it successfully so as to say they can “handle” it? Is there another club on the planet with our ultra social media and sponsorship heavy approach to football?
- How is he a hipster choice? He is known by everyone in footballing circles and being in the top tier of upcoming managers. His teams have been watched by most football fans in the CL for the last two seasons. He also has exceptional Pedigree from his work with Pep and Bayern and fully utilising Ajax‘S world renowned youth set up sending wonderful talents out to top sides in Europe. How is he a “hipster” choice?

He is not Enrique...who is not available.

Good the players should never be in the process of choosing a new manager anyway.

If we do go for Ten Hag then it gives me hope that we would be going for the "hipster" choice more often in the future than we have in the last decade.

Moyes, Van gaal, Mourinho, Ole and Rangnick are not hipster choices. The managerial list kind of shocks me at how bad its been; yet I look at our trophies and results and realise it was always meant to be.

Why do we even care the manager is?
Because a brilliant manager, supported by the right structure, is more beneficial than any superstar signing. Things can change very quickly in football and it's never quite as bad as it seems. Finding the right man to bring us back to the top is proving to be extremely difficult, but it's the single most transformative effect that can occur. Hence why we care.

They can feck off for all I care.

That random twitter account was right about the Monday meeting

We all dismissed it as bull too

Arnold: " The MUFC squad is full of whinging poseurs that believe their careers have reached the summit because they get to put on a MUFC shirt...how will you deal with this squad"

ETH: "Well as you can see...I am bald. "

Arnold: "You're hired"

It’s odd that all the noise about Hag Being interviewed and not being chosen. It would be embarrassing from both sides.
