***** gna ****. Keep reading and believing the Daily Mail and BBC too.

Im a ****? For who? The glazers? Woodward? Journalists? I expected a reply, didn’t expect one so pointlessly baffling. I use logic and common sense when it comes to most things, it saves me being an angry little sausage, give it a try.

Ten Hag or Pochetino? the best of the two is Pochetino, so I hope Poch is our new manager

Read somewhere that Ornstein said that we want to announce our new manager by the end of this month. He said its either Poch or ETH ( no surprise there).

Can honestly say I would be happy with either ETH or Poch.
Neither is 100% guaranteed success but just hope the new manager has an infrastructure in place that best suits him an the club.
Just get on with it now.

I think you should also open up your mind to the possibility that the club are doing what I mentioned. It's not as though it's out of the realm of possibility that the club are giving false leaks about Ten Hag but they still want Pochettino.

what would be the advantage to leaking stuff about Ten Hag? I don't get it

I think it’s definitely ETH and it’s been obvious for a few weeks. Once we heard it was going to be wrapped up shortly - even before PSG were knocked out - it was clear there was no way it could be Poch to me because PSG would not have let us negotiate before the end of the season. I also don’t think the club are as crazy as to let it be known the dressing room want Poch but they don’t - and still hire Pochetino - when everyone is having a pop at player power!

If it is Ten Hag, I will cry tears of joy, not gonna lie.
And if he bins De Gea, I might ejaculate.

Skybet have ten Hag as a clear favourite now for what it is worth

Pochettino available at 5/1 which is really good considering it’s apparently just between him and ETH

Hopefully this means the board know there needs to be wholesale changes while the team want more of the comfort zone. Would be funny if it was Poch though and he gives this team of wasters a nasty shock. Also they might be looking at the group of youngsters we have coming through not the first team. Looking to the future for a change, rather than the here and now.

If dressing room prefers Poch then we should go with ETH. feck this squad. We need to do full reset anyway.

Yeah too right they can't dictate who is going to get the managers job. Saw someone post on FB about a rumoured meet with Ten Hag tomorrow, however taking it with large pinch of salt.

Of all the players to bin, why the heck would you want De Gea to be it?
He has been one of our best players for years, but that is because he has had to make great save after great save. What if he is not having to do that, because our midfield functions as it should as does the defence in both an attacking and defensive sense. DDG would then need to be part of the attacking process. That is where people have doubts.

Even if people want a keeper who is more used to playing a sweeping style and is better with his feet, I find the way some people treat De Gea who has been by far our best player post-SAF really disgusting. Show some respect.

I wonder who "the dressing room" actually is? Ronaldo was reported to have said he is going to stay because "he is confident in the next manager appointment"? No idea what that means, but he is a big influence in there. Can't think of reason why he would have a preference one way or another, though. Maybe because Real Madrid lost to Poch's Spurs back in 2017? Besides him, most of the usual suspects will probably be gone next season. Shaw is definitely one who prefers Poch due to his time under him, but he doesn't exactly strike me as a particularly influential player in the dressing room. Who knows though, right?

Whatever the case, I still firmly believe it will be Poch, despite everything pointing the other way. I won't believe otherwise until I see it.

This is the source i believe

Do kinda feel bad for Poch if he doesn't get it, he's been desperate for it. We should have given it to him post Jose, but i think the boat has been missed with him.

We have had talented kids coming through, but have not been able to help them make that transition. That is one of the things I would love to see. Maybe we could use the Dutch teams for loans. How many go out and get naff all playing time.

It's fine to have doubts over that side of De Gea's game. But again, of all the players to bin why him? He's not a bad apple, he's never disrespected the club, he's been with us through these bad times and has saved us numerous points over the years (and is still doing so). There are other players who should be binned, who have disrespected the club multiple times, who have never given their best, who are lazy etc. You clear out the bad apples first and then decide on the rest later.

I agree. Just pointing out why people are worried about him. Just binning him offhand is disrespectful to someone who has always done as best he can for us.

If we are looking to announce it by the end of this month then it’s definitely Ten Hag.
What makes you say that? They've been booted out of the CL but the league is still ongoing. Every chance it could be Pochettino too, who by all accounts won’t be at PSG next season.

Don't know how anyone can say Pocchetino is the man to get us to where we want to be.
His PSG side have been awful against Monaco today so far. 1-0 down and the players couldn't look more disinterested.

It won’t be Poch. PSG will look to shift him out at the end of the season, and most likely the more difficult club to negotiate a deal with the season still remaining. If PSG wanted to sack Poch after the CL defeat it would’ve happened already.

At Ajax there seems to be a growing acceptance that Ten Hag is leaving and an understanding he wants to take the next big step in his career. In my view and as I’ve stated before, there would be no hard feelings with the Ajax squad or club if it was announced now.

There’s some weird Twitter movement against DDG that I’ve noticed of late. No idea why he seems to be the whipping boy and the root of all evil.

Just strange fans that think because he can’t kick as well as Ederson, he should be replaced and we will instantly make 20 points up.

It’s what City did with Ederson. Replaced two keepers in a very short time frame until they found the right one. I love de Gea but it is quite important to have a goalkeeer good with his feet now.

DDG is least of our problems….. there are bigger issues to sort first which will take time !!

De Gea IS a problem though. I think we're digging our heads in the sand about him because of sentimental reasons, namely he's one of the last links to Sir Alex's winning squad, his lengthy tenure at the club, and his occasional insane saves. But the fact remains that he's not a compatible keeper for the modern game judging by his positioning and distribution, something that exacerbates our existing issues in defence. It's pretty telling that he can't even make the Spain squad these days.

I love him but its clear that as a club if we want to move on to a more progressive style of football, he needs to be upgraded on.
