Since we let yet another good manager join our rivals, I bet it will be some shite one like Southgate.

Spurs fans laughing at United right now. Along with Chelsea, City and Liverpool.

Taken a team to the CL final.

Played 15 league and CL games this season, won 12. Top of a tricky CL group with City and Leipzig, top of his league by 8 points.

Sure, "similar to Ole".

Alright mate I’ll play your game, Ole has won an actual league title, so here you go, your turn, the point is they’re both not good enough for us,

Also that “special night” Porch’s team has against Ajax was a moment of magic from Moura, he single handedly dragged them through, they were fairly shite against Ajax and then the final, do you actually want to even discuss that disaster ?

It looks like Emery is going to Newcastle, yet the front runner there seemed to be Fonseca.... not sure what's happened.

Would Man Utd. be happy with Fonseca?

We are running out of option to replace Ole.

Some fans keep harping on we now have modern football structure in place. It certainly doesn't seems like we are a club with any plan at the moment.

Just give it to Ole and forget about the negative football and pray for individual brilliance every match.

I'd really like to take a risk on Potter, only because I don't know that much about the Ajax manager, who is also supposed to be very good. Looking at the list in the poll though you'd take any really and feel like we were making an improvement.

Get anyone in, please. Rodgers, Potter, Ten Hag, it doesn't really matter as long as we see the back of the fraud currently at the helm ASAP.

At least we have dodged the bullet of Conte.
Did we really though? I just seen his contract is only a year and a half. Would it really be that bad giving a solid manager like him a contract like that? Imo sticking with Ole is far worse than taking a chance with Antonio.

The issue is that they don't know football, don't employ people below them that know football, and practice nepotism (fits in with the United fan base). They spend more than enough if they were competent enough to ditch Woodward 5 years ago for someone with a football brain from OUTSIDE the club. Instead they just keep promoting from within or give jobs to friends of friends. It's terrible. Not to mention they're the one picking and employing the coaches and always keeping them longer than they should. Jose should have been gone the moment they decided not to buy him those players before his third year as EVERYONE knew it was going to be toxic. LVG should have been gone that December (he won the FA Cup at least so wasn't the end of the world). Moyes is a difficult situation since he was supposedly chosen by SAF (again the level of truth of that is up in the air, he may have been what we were stuck with after missing out on better managers) but he probably should have been fired before top 4 was mathematically impossible. And then of course Ole. They never should have given him the job after a fluke win in Paris and certainly should have rethought the investment after we didn't finish top 4. Then Ole should have been fired last year after the horrific start or this year at the horrific start. They're afraid to make the tough decisions and be wrong so they always wait until the decision has to be made for them (not top 4) or the problem fixes itself (like Ole winning a few games). It's so reactive that it's pathetic and you can tell they're not really good businessmen but just reap the benefits that their family had earned generation(s) earlier and rake in free cash.

Let me virtually shake you by the hand for absolutely nailing where it's gone so disastrously wrong these past 8 years, sadly there is absolutely no chance of things changing as Spurs have now taken the only class option available and the geordies took our only hope of a takeover opportunity as well (yes I know about their regimes)

I always have visions of Klopp asking about the club's set up and scouting structure etc only to be met with Ed jumping up yelling "we are Disneyland yaaaaayyy " while waving his hands at him

Yeah he will never ever be forgiven for that and rightfully so because it set us back years and the toy story couldn't care less

We'd never know what Conte would do with us, nor would we know how any new managers will do. It's all predictions.

But for the love of God can we just be pro-active Chelsea style, a short term contract new manager to see how we'd do. We need a new manager to get us playing well ASAP. It's only so much Ronaldo can bail us out, our performances are unsustainable.

We've let the easy option go, let's go for Potter. At least he knows what he's doing and he's not proven to be a serial bottler (yet).

At least we have dodged the bullet of Conte.
  We've dodged titles and cups alright.

Zidane so he can win us the CL along with Ronaldo then someone like ten Hag after Zidane walks away.

Zidane doesnt wanna come here. No Rodgers please. I'll take Potter, even though he is a risk. Then we can target Ten Hag later if Potter doesnt work out.

But we will probably end up getting Rodgers.

I know, but I want to dream!

I really don't understand this talk about Rodgers, besides being a Liverpool manager, he will never win the league with us. His teams crack under pressure, he will melt here.

Potter I do like, but he will fail here. The egos in the dressing will be impossible to handle for manager who hasn't anything as a player or done much of note as a manager so far.

We will regret not hiring Conte big time this season.

Ten Hag will not happen even in summer. I remember a journalist saying the links to Ten Hag were just social media talk and he was under no real consideration. I doubt this board even know who Ten Hag is.

Conte would have been a terrible choice and I hope we don't get him when he inevitably leaves Spurs. When we change it shouldn't just be a knee jerk to get rid of Ole.

And I can't believe anyone is even mentioning Rodgers. Not good enough and a former Liverpool manager to boot.

If we get Rodger then i think most of us will need therapy to deal with it :nervous:

Throwing stones at glass houses and that.

I wouldn’t diss any manager at the minute to be honest.
