Giannis has been poor. Make them suffer man.

They beat themselves. The Lakers just can't close. Really starting to worry for Lebron. Think he is against the ropes now.

Maybe 6 or 7 loses max that they can afford. Atrocious ending of the game.

Sitting at a very good seat at Staples Center waiting for Lakers v Bucks to begin, wearing a Giannis shirt and watching Portland v Toronto on League Pass while I’m doing that. I love my life.

Brilliant.

Great one. Was lovely seeing them leave the arena with 40 seconds to go after all.

Bucks are just much, much better. Giannis didn’t even play well yet they still won. Probably gonna hit 60 wins which will be great and should comfortably give Bud the Coach of the Year.

I don’t think Lakers are making the playoffs at all. They would really need to go like 14-6 or 13-7 from here which is just not likely to happen. Clippers look comfortable despite all the trades and should probably get to 43-44 wins without problem considering their calendar.

Why? He didn't sign for the Lakers for basketball reasons, he's preparing for life after his NBA career winds down and LA is the perfect spot for him.

I'm at a point where I hate the Timberwolves. The lack of quality guards, lack of defense or lack of ball movements are infuriating and I don't really see a way out of it.

Like Skip Bayless says, he's not after Michael Jordan but rather Michael.B Jordan

@Sarni post some pics man, don't be greedy like that

Because he might not make the playoffs

I'm sure he'll be able to cope.

They play OKC soon. So just wait for that because Andrew Wiggings turns into the player everyone thought he would become in those games.

The team is currently a disgrace!!!!

But Luke Walton has no right to be the coach of the team!!!! Even Paul Ince would do better!!!!

No team deserves to think about the playoffs with loses in the last few games against the Hawks, Pelicans without AD, the Grizzlies and now the Suns.....it's simply laughable

First season in the Western Conference and misses playoffs. "GOAT candidate".
They were 4th before his injury and then that deadline trade rumors fecked up this whole team. The moment they ended up not being traded they stopped playing for him the trust was gone.

LA needs to go 16-4 to make the playoffs. In other words..they are out if you cant beat a team that is tanking then I have no idea what to say.

The criticism of Lebron is funny. He's put up insane, efficient, numbers in all these games. It's down to the team and management.

You guys are being harsh on my Lakers. None of you understand.

LeBron needs more time to film Space Jam 2 this summer. That's why we're not making the playoffs obviously.

The argument that the Lakers were 4th before Lebron's injury whilst true is somewhat misleading since they had a relatively easy schedule up to that point. Before the Xmas day game against the Dubs (when LeBron got hurt) the Lakers were 19-14 but they had only beaten 5 teams (Nuggets, Blazers, Pacers, Jazz and Spurs) with a winning record. This is a big part of the reason why it is going to be very hard for them to make the playoffs since they now have the 8th most difficult schedule left to play.

Celtics are such a mess. Up until a week ago I still thought they were going to overtake Pacers and get homecourt advantage, it looks very unlikely now with 26 losses already. Still I reckon Sixers will go above Indiana so Boston will be handed a reasonable series for the first round, they should be able to beat Pacers without Oladipo over 7 games.

I don’t think Lakers should be in the playoffs conversation in the West anymore. In fact I don’t think Sacramento with a much better record are honestly still in it, though I would badly want them to make it. Clippers with that kind of calendar are probably going to go above .500 for the rest of season, Spurs are always solid and though their calendar is difficult they should still be able to win at least 7-8 of their remaining 18 games to get to 42-43 wins. I could maybe see Sacramento getting there but not Lakers.

Lakers still have some tough games coming up like trips to Toronto and Milwaukee, and then a brutal stretch at the very end where they need to go to OKC and Utah and then play Utah again and Warriors at home. To even get above .500 would be a success for them from here.

Spurs did everything they could to give that game away but just managed to hold on.
