The Warriors would sweep them anyway. At least with LeBron it'd be an "interesting" first round.
And Rondo At the Garden as well, awesome.
I think Grizzlies were playing a lineup of Jevon Carter, Yuta Watanabe, Julian Washburn, Bruno Caboclo and Ivan Rabb at one point last night. All of them got more than 20 minutes in that game. Wow.
I've never heard of Julian Washburn and he seems to be 27.
The NBA is becoming a joke with their involvement. Fining the Pelicans if they wouldn’t play AD. Feck. Off.
The coach can bench any player he wants, end off.Ad wants to play? You can't bench a player like that, either release him from his contract or play him.

Okay if that’s an official policy - it’s not in the NBA as far as I know.Nope for off field reasons, that happens in europe and the person can get the contract void.

I've got to say I'd give it to Giannis. The NBA has got to get over its love of statistics. Russell Westbrook won the MVP two years ago because he averaged a triple double but the Thunder finished with 47 wins in sixth place. Now we're genuflecting to this 30 point binge that James Harden is on. Last night Chris Paul played, Eric Gordon played, Kenneth Faried who is averaging a double double since he joined was on the court and the Rockets still lost. You are going to average 30 points a game if you take 30 shots per game and that's what Harden is doing - but they are still 5th. This was a 65 win team last year and if they win every game left on their schedule they'll still only end up with 59. That is not good. Blame it on injuries if you wish, but how can you claim most valuable when another star is carrying his team to the top of the standings. There is only one important stat in sport and that is wins and Giannis' team, the Milwaukee Bucks currently have more of them than anyone else in the NBA. Give it to Giannis!Paul Georges is the real MVP He's incredible
Giannis would be a great MVP tbh and he'll deserve it if he gets it. I just prefer Paul Georges' game, it still bugs me for some reason that Giannis is a good mid range shooter yet.I've got to say I'd give it to Giannis. Bucks won't be winning as many games as the Rockets if they're both playing in the same conference.I've got to say I'd give it to Giannis. The NBA has got to get over its love of statistics. Can I just point out that the Bucks have a better winning percentage against the West than the Rockets do, including a win vs the Rockets in Houston.Bucks won't be winning as many games as the Rockets if they're both playing in the same conference.
Portland vs Mavs - what a fourth quarter. Doncic was great but I think a Blazers meltdown is a better description. Nine points in the fourth quarter! Nine freaking points and ten minutes between baskets! That's impressive!

Injuries and sample size... You really think the Bucks can get away with resting their starters so often if they're playing that many games against Western teams instead of constantly blowinggour terrible Eastern teams. What? Bucks have 41-14, Rockets are 32-23. You could maybe argue 3-4 games is driven by the conferences but no way this big a difference is caused by it. They also have a ridiculous point differential that is far, far ahead of anyone else in the league.
It’s ridiculous to claim Bucks have not been better than Rockets this year and it’s all driven by conference split. They’ve been absolute miles better.

They get to rest players during blowout games which there's been plenty against Eastern conference teams and that's a crucial part in keeping them healthy .They aren’t even resting them. Bledsoe has missed one game, Giannis has missed three or four, Middleton just three.
Also as pointed out, Houston are 20-15 against West teams, Bucks are 13-6, a much better record. Houston are 12-8 against the East, Bucks are 28-8, again huge difference. Against .500 teams Bucks are 16-7, Houston 20-13. If you go into deeper measurements you’ll struggle to find one where Rockets are better as well.
Bucks have had a much, much better season than Houston and it’s not because of conference. Yes, West is much stronger than the East but I feel like it has been blown way out of proportion recently. My Blazers are 33-22 in the West and I doubt they would be higher than the 5th best team in the East.
It would maybe be arguable who are a better team between Houston and Milwaukee in a playoffs environment but when it comes to 18-19 regular season it’s not close.

People need to stop overrating the regular season wins that Eastern conference teams have because there literally needs to be a winner which makes their numbers look way better than they really are. Until the Bucks proves themselves in the playoffs, there's no way I'm taking them over the Rockets as the better team if both are healthy .
Yesterday was ugly from a defensive POV though. We couldn't handle Embiid, Butler, even JJ Reddick got in on the act. There are 26 games left and the Lakers are 2.5 games away from the 8th spot. You can't say if they'll make it or not.
Like Manchester United under Mourinho this season......amazing performances like against Chelsea away, great results like against Juventus away but then so many terrible matches.......of course you can lose against the 76ers but the performance was again shambolic.Yesterday was ugly from a defensive POV though. We couldn't handle Embiid, Butler, even JJ Reddick got in on the act.
I simply have no trust in any of our players to take over a game and put it to bed. Far too inconsistent imo.
The elephant in the room though is the fact that LeBron is no longer head and shoulders the best player in the NBA. There are now a number of players in the league who are either his equal or at least close to it on offense and he is a shadow of himself on the defensive end. If he can get the Lakers to the playoffs I still believe they will be a difficult "out" because he is still "LeBron" but the fear factor for teams in the West is just not the same as it was against the Eastern Conference. It could be a difficult few months.Yesterday was ugly from a defensive POV though. We couldn't handle Embiid, Butler, even JJ Reddick got in on the act.
