NBA 2018-2019

That Lakers offer for Davis was disgusting. Ball, Kuzma, Rono, Beasley and a first so virtually Ball, Kuzma and a first. It might have been a way of them saying we already have an agreement with him for 2020 so nobody will offer you more.

Straight up shocking offer for one of / if not the best centre in the NBA. Lowballing NOLA.

LeBron will be 36 in 2020 and Lakes will have enough room for 2 max contracts this summer, think if they can't get him this off-season, they gonna pursue other targets - Kawhi, Klay, Butler, Kyrie, snake.

You don't sign LeBron at 33 and go idle for the next 2 years homie.

I would agree if they were trying to score contested three after contested three. Plenty of them were open looks though and if you got them, you shoot them.
The point is though that so many we're uncontested because the Warriors got to the point where they we're leaving shooters open. It's what teams have been doing to Draymond all year. We'll give you open looks until you prove you can knock them down. If it wasn't working and their shots were not falling, open or not, you try something else.

Again strongly disagree. Them getting good looks was not part of brilliant Warriors strategy but Rockets ability to do that which they showed for the whole season.

It wasn't a brilliant strategy by the Dubs, it just happened, but after a bunch of misses the Warriors were almost daring them to shoot. The Rockets choked and because they only had one style of play they kept chucking them up anyway. D'Antoni has come up with some great offensive strategies over the years but when it comes to in game Xs and Os he's awful.

I really hope Atlanta get Zion. They are the sort of tanking team I can easily get behind. They had a good team in place but could not win titles as they missed that alpha type player in crucial moments, then when they were trying to get one Horford left them so they just gave it another year with Millsap leading the team and dismantled it. Now it seems they want to collect as much young talent as possible.

It’s not like Chicago, Knicks and Phoenix who are just terribly run franchises. Cleveland have had way too many number one picks.

They obviously should not have traded Doncic for Trae but I think Trae has actually been fairly good recently and has improved his shooting. Huerter and Collins are great and they are a fun team. Zion would be perfect there and I hope they get a good pick out of Dallas.

I agree and from what I've seen Young has been very unfairly maligned this season, due to the whole Doncic trade (what else was traded with him?).

Young is a much better playmaker than was first advertised, so all he needs to do is become more consistent with his shot and he'll be a top end PG.

Collins has been a revelation, I feel they can definitely build around their young core.

I have turned the Doncic v Cavs on for a few minutes, this boy is just ridiculous. 18 points in a quarter, 7 straight makes with some ridiculous step back threes. What a talent, he’s amazing to watch.

True, I think what hurt Young was this perception that he’s new Steph Curry which was driven by all the videos of his long range shots from Oklahoma but he wasn’t that efficient from three in college either. It’s his playmaking and vision that are his best assets and the reason why Atlanta picked him.

I don’t think he will be the best point guard in the league but he will be a good player. He’s for sure fun.

He's really the only option on the team now, he's going to be a one man show.

Another loss for the Nets tonight. Not their usual scrappy self either. Got Bucks, Nuggets and Raptors in their next 4 games. Come on you Nets!

Monte 'all-day' Morris is balling - 17/7/10 with only one TO (at the end of the game). Beasley also had another very good shootind night.

I really love Murray, as he's the alpha on the team but Morris is simply a better playmaker. I think with the Joker in the side Malone can rely on Morris to facilitate, and Beasley to lead the scoring off the bench once Murray and Harris are back up and running. We've got a lot of options... I hope I'm not allowing myself to get too carried away now.

Also congratulations to Malone who will be the deserved AS coach because of this win. For a maligned coach he's really deserved his accolades this season, and should be second in COTY.

Boogie is looking good

The world is a better place when Boogie is a great player. He's just so damn fun

Doncic :lol::lol::lol:

Game winning assist, TD pass and also the assist that brought up his triple double

That pass was ridiculous, also credit to Beasley for catching the ball. I wander if they actually practice that stuff?!

Can confirm that Anthony Davis’s representatives have told the Pelicans that the list of teams with which he would sign long term is: Lakers, Knicks, Clippers and Milwaukee Bucks, source said. All teams with another star or the capability to get another star.

Woj
The Lakers have offered a new package to New Orleans that includes multiple young players, multiple draft picks and Pelicans salary cap relief for Anthony Davis, league sources tell ESPN. The offer appears to move closer to the objectives that the Pelicans are pursuing in a deal.

Lakers president Magic Johnson and Pelicans GM Dell Demps have had multiple conversations today, league sources tell ESPN. There's no sense how much progress sides have made progress toward a possible trade, but the Lakers have absolutely gotten more serious in the discussions.

The Los Angeles Clippers and Milwaukee Bucks are among the teams on the new extended Davis list, league sources said. Still, Clippers are another team holding onto cap space and assets for summer free agency. So far, Clippers haven't made an offer on Davis, sources said.

The Pelicans can have whoever they want off our (Knicks) roster for Davis and cap relief. No picks though.

That's great and all but I really don't think the Pels can afford to be bad for more than a year. They don't have the time to rebuild.

I honestly don't think there's a package the Lakers could put together that would make me trade Davis if I were the Pelicans. I just don't rate their young guys at all.

They have to accept the current offer. Teams that can offer something substantial are not on AD’s list and won’t take the risk by offering their major assets.

Even if you don’t particularly like those guys they are still on team friendly, controlled rookie deals and you could flip them in the next 6-12 months for something you actually like. Suns will put a good offer for Lonzo, if they do not get no. 1 pick they will probably offer whatever pick they get. Kuzma and Ingram have value.

Boston would have the most compelling offer but they won’t give all that much for a player that does not want to go there and might not re-sign.

That’s a clever list he has given. Clippers and Bucks have absolutely nothing to offer.

They have no chance to get a ready now player.

Lakers will be LeBron, AD and a bunch of G-League players.

Milwaukee should trade anyone other than Giannis to get this done.

They don’t really have anyone bar Giannis. Middleton, Lopez, Bledsoe and Brogdon are all expiring. They cannot trade their picks and their young players are rotation quality at best.
