NBA 2015-2016

Must win game for the Warriors coming up. Thunder have nothing to lose...already stolen home court, so they should play loose - Warriors will be feeling the pressure.

Curry just started killing it here  13-0 run all him, 4 free throws and then 3 three pointers.

The Curry fascination intrigues me. A brilliant 3rd quarter no doubt, but compare the reaction to it to Westbrook's 3rd qtr from game 1 (which was just as good if not better). Maybe I am just a little salty after that though, who knows.

Very surprised with game 1. I actually think the Warriors choked in the 4th quarter. Seem to have put it right tonight though. Will be a very interesting series.

Rout for the Warriors.

But, Thunder won't be too upset, they got the split. Warriors will still feel like they need to win game 3 to regain dominance of this series.

It's a reverse scenario, tonight the game was close until third quarter so Warriors felt pressured to play well and ran away with it. In game 1 they were well ahead and relaxed which cost them.

I wonder who Philly will draft at 1st, luckily this time they won't be drafting another big man. I want them to do well, nostalgic feeling from the good old Iverson days. I think they actually have a good chance of doing a quick rebuild in this offseason - they have three very good big men with decent trade value so they could move one of them for a backcourt player, I think they want to keep Embiid and his value is smaller so I could see them moving Okafor (though I'd prefer them to keep him, I like him a lot) and going with Noel and Embiid at 4 and 5, Simmons or Ingram at 3 and get a good backcourt player for Okafor (I think Boston might give them Bradley/Smart + their pick with which they could get Dunn).

Lol nobody even bothering to comment on the massacre of the raptors. Cleveland tired out last year having played marathon series and had nothing left in the final... This year around they are 10-0, will be interesting to see if they can go all the way now.

Only issue for Cleveland will be....how will they react to the 1st bit of adversity they face in the Finals? Will being fresh outweigh the negative of not being battle tested?

Remember Kyrie and Love know next to nothing about big postseason moments.

But, that's just me over thinking the situation. 10/10 teams would love to be in the position the Cavs find themselves in.

One final thing...Lowry is a bum.

What marathon series did Cleveland have to play last year exactly? They went 10-2 in the postseason, two sweeps and Bulls took them to game 6, that's it. They were hold back by the Love and Irving injuries not because they had to play a lot. This year they definitely look better.

Would love it if lebron destroys the warriors and outperforms curry and co. Luv it.

Been a LeBron 'hater' for a while but now that Curry and co. are getting the media adulation I will probably go for Cleveland in the finals . They were desperately unlucky with injuries last year, and still performed well.

Same. Not being invested in a team and sport really makes it easy to just randomly pick who you despise and just randomly think of a reason to pick who you support in the battle against the aforementioned despicable embodiment of evil. It switches each few years.

Not a popular opinion but I agree.

Getting sick of the Warriors and Curry wankfest, would love Lebron to silence them all and prove he's still the top dog in the NBA.

I cant stand Lebron. He's so physically gifted but he's always whining and crying about something. I hope GS or OKC demolish them in the finals.

Don't go to the Darkside. LeBron is an arrogant arse and will never change. How can you pull for a guy that wears "King" (unless his name is Bernard) or "King James" on his shirt. The "decision" was one of the low points in American sports and was done entirely to fuel his ego. Don't do it.

Now here's the right attitude (except for the OKC bit of course :)).

He needed a shit.

"Just to kind of decompress, get back there, kind of relax my body and relax my mind," Lowry said. "And knowing that we had a chance to kind of make some things [happen], I wanted to get myself going and get my teammates going and get the team going. It was nothing more than just kind of to decompress, breathe and get back out."

Cavs were pulling away and went on a 16-2 run while he was breathing into a paper bag

My opinion of him hasn't changed, I am just disliking the Warriors more . Curry's arrogance (as much as he can back it up), the media love for GSW and Draymond fecking Green all annoy me these days. Plus I guess Cavs would be the under-dog and that's good to see. On the other hand I like Thompson and Kerr...it'll be a tough choice.

The difference between Curry and Lebron is that Steph confines his arrogance to the basketball court. Off it, he appears to be a really decent lad. And as I keep saying over and over again...............

...............everybody loves Draymond.

Golden State Warriors - you know it makes sense.;)

Would count it as a win if the raptors could end the game with a scoreline that doesn't make it seem like they didn't play a quarter :lol:

You know it. He freaking left the bench to 'decompress'. He is literally choking in front of our very own eyes
He's pretty much been carrying us through this post season, especially when DeMar decides not to show up. I'm not surprised he's burned out.

Yeah I'm the same. Used to enjoy watching Warriors but I'm sick of them.

I'm adopting 76ers as my 2nd/3rd team BTW. Will love to cheer someone crap who may become very good in 4-5 years so I'll be able to boast about having always cheered for them (besides I am still nostalgic about them from early 2000s).

You guys are a tough crowd. Until last year the Dubs had not been relevant for 40 years. Yes they're getting a lot of media attention now, but surely everybody deserves their day in the sun at some point.

This is my next American sport I'm taking a proper interest in, I have no idea if I can choose a team. For this year, either Toronto or Golden State.

Whoever is in the sun gets the hate. Just enjoy the notoriety that comes with being on top.

Portland. No longer there but the only good choice. Philadelphia too.

Biyombo BEASTING AND FEASTING on the glass. 16 first half rebounds. He only took 1 shot and had it blocked.

60-47 Raptors at the half. I still wouldn't be confident.

Good luck watching games live if you support a West Coast team, unless you're happy to get up at 3am, also why support the current bandwagon team. You know it makes sense to pick Toronto :D

Minnesota Timberwolves would be a good choice. They look like they're on the verge of becoming a very good team.
