NBA 2015-2016

That was definitely intentional from Draymond. If he doesn't get suspend after Dahntay Jones of the Raptors did for something less clear the league will look bad. Golden State without Draymond are weaker defensively and they can't play their lineup of death. I expect the thunder to go 3-1 up. If they do I think the series is over.

I have just thrown a ball out of my office window then Biyombo appeared and got a rebound.
See, if it had been Draymond, he could have kicked it back to you.

Not on purpose of course.....................;)

Their death lineup did the square root of feck all last night, surprisingly.

I love Bismack after these games BTW. UFA in the Summer. If Blazers cannot get Whiteside or Horford, he should be the next target. Even his max will be affordable. Him rebounding CJ's and Dame's shots would be immense. Blazers don't really need scoring from center if they get a power forward, they need power + rebounding + defense, Bismack has got it all plus a cool name.

26 rebounds, come on.

Minnesota Timberwolves would be a good choice. They look like they're on the verge of becoming a very good team.

My team yo :D

I thought Love was gonna take us to the promised land of the playoffs, but the way things have turned out is even better. KAT is a monster, I'm so glad we got Wiggins, and Rubio is still an awesome enough passer that I can forgive his jump shot.

And now we got Thibs!

Ah thanks good point. This was the mistake I made in NFL, Seattle. My mate is currently living in Toronto loving the Raptors and I watched / supported them last night so they seem to be way out in front right now.

I quite like Miami as I just came back from there and red/black, who can argue with those colours? Now LeBron has gone, they're feasible. Are they dicks? Are any NY/NJ teams a good shout? They're realistically the team I'm most likely to be able to see.

Well you're not going to support Blazers then? :(

Honestly, the most likeable team in the NBA. I'm posting on their forum now, great fan base and it's basically a full blown basketball city. Fell in love with them completely this season. I'm Warsaw timezone though so I wake up at 5 AM during work days and catch the whole game or 6.30 AM like I usually do and still see the whole second half.

76ers are my 'project team'. High risk, high reward. They could still be shit for the next 10 years or they could be awesome if Embiid is healthy, Simmons fulfils his promise, Okafor develops defence and they get a good pick from Kings and Lakers.

They aren't my team but I am rooting for OKC this season (my boy Adams reppin' Aotearoa). In saying that, I hope Draymond doesn't get suspended. It would suck to beat a 73-win team in the conference finals only for their fans to claim it was because a key player was missing. Better to beat them at their best.

Hopefully he's dropped that annoying habit of making his starters play 40 mins per game.

So Westbrook should kick Curry in the groin next game? And since he's a superstar and it's the playoffs he will be let off?

You can certainly make the case it is intentional by watching the clip or the still photo. His eyes are looking directly down.
I don't think that was quite the totality of the argument. It basically said that no-one (except Draymond Green) knows for sure intent one way or the other and on that basis he deserves the benefit of the doubt. The superstar part of the argument, I've got to say, I didn't agree with.

Innocent until PROVEN guilty and all that.

How can you prove guilt if looking at that video you don't find it possible? It was not natural in any way, zero accident.

If NBA decide not to suspend him because it'd ruin the show, it's hopeless and further proves that Warriors are league's Golden Boys.

That is the standard for legal prosecutions. The NBA can suspend him for whatever they want.

I agree the NBA can suspend him for whatever they want and as I said earlier I think they will. All I was saying is that it seems unfair to suspend somebody for something that easily could have been an accident. As to Sarni, of course I find it possible he did it on purpose (maybe even likely). I just don't know and that is my rationale for clemency. I didn't see it (too depressed) but apparently Shaq and Chuck were discussing the incident on TNT after the game and they both said that they thought that it was inadvertent and not worthy of a suspension. In addition, the refs in the game looked at it repeatedly and didn't even think it was worthy of the more serious Flagrant 2 foul at the time.

Draymond Green just cost the Warriors a trip to the finals.

Jones got suspended a game for his hit on Biyombo, Green HAS to get 1 game. Not sure the Warriors can afford lose him and I can't see them coming back from a 3-1 deficit.
In Jones' case, I think the NBA were actually trying to do him a favor. If they hadn't suspended him the alternative would be a fine. Since he makes so little ($8,818 this year) a suspension actually costs him about $80 (eighty dollars - not a typo). Not a big deal when he doesn't play anyway. The fact is Jones' suspension could now create a precedent when all the NBA were trying to do in the first place was cut a guy some slack.

Personally, what I think happened is yes he initiated contact with Adams on purpose (players do that all the time when they are trying to get a foul call) I just don't think he meant to kick him in the balls.

Again I'm probably biased. Since nobody seems to agree with me, maybe my Warriors fandom is showing. :wenger:

But until it's possible to read human mind you could always say it wasn't intentional, about almost everything people do.

Alright, alright, I'll quit while I'm behind.....................:)

I think Green will now have a monster game 4 and lead GS to victory, and this call will be this season's controversial call.

I like GS but I watched the video, he kicked him intentionally imo.

Cavs will have HC if it's Thunder. I think it's Cavaliers year.
San Antonio was supposed to defeat them easily, and now GSW are supposed to defeat them. But if they win - and I think they will - I think that they can defeat Cavs.

Durant is playing his best basketball on years, and Westbrook seems to play more unselfish than ever, being a great team player. They can defeat any team in the NBA, and hoping that they will get the ring.

ESPN is reporting that Draymond Green will not be suspended for game 4 but will have flagrant foul upgraded from a Flagrant 1 to a Flagrant 2 plus a fine.

Even though I'm pleased with the decision, he's a very lucky lad.

If that's not intentional, I don't know what is. He wasn't flailing, both feet where on the ground before he kicked out at Adams, it wasn't in one motion trying to get a foul.

I'd feel hard done by if I were a Thunder fan. Pussy decision from the NBA if true.

What a ridiculous decision. That was obviously intentional. NBA want GSW to win anyway, absolute jokers. If that was a role player he would have been suspended.

The league know that if he was suspended it would kill GSW as he is vital to their team and system. It's just wrong altogether.

$25000 fine...benefit of playing for a big team.
Is it too soon to say that the Dubs are really known for their small line up? :) In all seriousness, this is only half the battle for the Warriors. What I'm really worried about is that the whole team is probably breathing a collective sigh of relief about this decision when they've still got to go out and win game 4. Based on game 3 that is still a tough ask with or without Draymond Green. In addition, its probably further fired up OKC if they needed any additional motivation.

What a fecking joke of a decision. feck the NBA and feck Draymond Green. Shouldn't be surprised though. I thought it was so obvious it was intentional that even the NBA couldn't protect their favourite team but obviously not. Now no doubt he'll play a huge role in them winning tomorrow even though he shouldn't be on the court. Gutless by the league.

On one hand you have to admire the sheer cheek displayed by the NBA in the process of ignoring clear precedent for a clear kick to the 'nads.

On the other hand, what the absolute feck. I understand the gravity of the suspension on Game 4, but that's why players shouldn't kick other players in the nuts. Once that happens you're at fault for what may happen as a result of your absence. Zach Randolph was suspended in a Game 7 for lashing out against the same Steven Adams 2 years ago (Adams must be the sport's greatest "under your skin irritant") in the previous game and we lost the series as a result, but god forbid the league favorites aren't disadvantaged.

Great win for the Raptors. Really pulled it out at the end when it got tight.

I'm glad they responded. Biyombo is a beast.
To be honest, I was a bit scared when Cleaveland took the lead again.
Some people at work were already writing us off. One guy was even saying how he couldnt see us getting a win. I was hopefull we would get at least a win. Now anything is possible.

Refs missed 2 big and obvious calls in the end...critical calls.

One for the foul on James leading to a steal by Lowry and Biyombo holding Thompson clearing the lane for Lowry to get an open layup.

Cavs will get so many make up calls now

But....big respect to Toronto. I didn't think they had 2 wins in them and predicted 4-1 series result. So much for the Cavs being well rested for the finals

They need JV back for any chance of stealing a win in Cleveland. Plus Derozen and Lowry have to keep on balling.
