NBA 2015-2016

Good luck watching games live if you support a West Coast team, unless you're happy to get up at 3am, also why support the current bandwagon team. You know it makes sense to pick Toronto :D

This. GMT -5 is doable.

Ah thanks good point. This was the mistake I made in NFL, Seattle. My mate is currently living in Toronto loving the Raptors and I watched / supported them last night so they seem to be way out in front right now.

I quite like Miami as I just came back from there and red/black, who can argue with those colours? Now LeBron has gone, they're feasible. Are they dicks? Are any NY/NJ teams a good shout? They're realistically the team I'm most likely to be able to see.

They are a moany bunch. Plus, Dwyane Wade is a dick.

Miami are still a pretty decent outfit despite the loss of LBJ, Wade getting on and Bosh having perpetual health problems. They have some decent young players which will make them an interesting watch next season. Quite a few Caftards seem to like them as well so maybe they can convince you of the merits of following them more than I can.

Edit: Yeah can confirm Wade is a dick too.

New Jersey no longer have a team as the franchise moved to Brooklyn 4 years ago to become the Brooklyn Nets, had a decent-ish side a few years ago but pretty much a nothing team these days. New York Knicks fans are absolute cnuts.

He's friends with Lebron - he's a dick just by association.

I actually don't mind LeBron as much these days, seems to have matured considerably.

Wade on the other hand seems to have become much more of a dick since his bff left south beach.

Last night did bring out his more petulant side, but in this play-off season he's been quite restrained, even when deliberately provoked.
Winning 10 games in a row will do that for you. A bit of adversity last night and he was back to his usual. "But, but, but, I'm the best player in the world, you can't foul me" as he deliberately slams his forearm into Biyombo's neck. I'm just glad he's not a boxer. After that flop last night I think there are flyweights out there that could put him down.

If you hadn't figured it out, I'm not Lebron's biggest fan.

Lebron was straight up embarrassing last night. He's arguably the best player in the game, he doesn't need to flop, yet he makes ridiculous tumbles 24/7 regardless of winning or losing.

@Danny1982 I know what happened, I was watching the game. It's just the first vine I could find. Youtube is so 2010!
:D
 I know, I just thought it's a shame that the vine missed the best part. I love how the cameraman had to move the camera and zoom out just to keep him in the picture.

72 - 47 for OKC at half... I'm pretty sure it was 40-40 after about 2 minutes of the second quarter. Thunder just running away with it since then.

Draymond Green just cost the Warriors a trip to the finals.

Jones got suspended a game for his hit on Biyombo, Green HAS to get 1 game. Not sure the Warriors can afford lose him and I can't see them coming back from a 3-1 deficit.

Going to watch the replay tonight as I was at uni and missed it ( stupid education!) But the internet is blowing up about Draymond. I've only seen Thunder fans say it was intentional and GSW supporters say it wasn't. Anyone with some objectivity want to clarify if it was or not?

2nd Time he's done it...His movement was completely unnatural, he kicked out.

And when you take into account the interview Draymond gave with respect to Adams calling him annoying etc etc...this wasn't just an accident.

NBA set a precedent with Jones the other night...I certainly hope Draymond doesn't get the benefit of the doubt.

I say that as someone who has enjoyed watching them this season and think warriors v cavs would be a more compelling Finals.

Check out @jasonrmcintyre's Tweet:

How can anyone even argue it wasn't intentional?! I saw Steve Kerr's comments and I thought that maybe it could be contentious because he seems a pretty rational kinda guy but that just seems so obvious to me. Deserves a ban. Will be interesting to see if the NBA does it though, with it being the current 'golden' team in Golden State.

Warriors and the Inside NBA guys - shaq, Kenny smith, Barkley were all arguing that...Draymond was flailing his body to try to sell the foul better...not intentionally kick him.

I get the ex players taking his side, they want to defend players and are probably looking at it from the POV - it would dramatically change the series.

For me...he looks at him and makes a deliberate move to kick (and don't forget 2nd game in a row he's done this).

I don't care about the knock on effects of Draymond being suspended...that's something he should have been thinking about!

Anyway, I was leaning towards a nailed on suspension...but, who knows...League might let him off the hook.

He has to be suspended for this and without him there's zero chance of Warriors grabbing Game 4.

Warriors really shown up in these series so far, they cannot cope with Thunder big line up. I would love it if someone trolls Draymond 'it's over'.

I don't care who goes through but I just hope they're good enough to beat the bloody Cavs.

When I see the incident itself in isolation it looks like he did it on purpose, HOWEVER when you look at his reaction afterwards it doesn't seem to me like he even knows he's done it. He turns away from Adams as if nothing has happened. According to Draymond even the referee didn't think it was intentional, he said he gave him a flagrant because of where the blow (no pun intended) landed. As to a suspension (I suppose people will say I'm not objective here - and maybe I'm not) I don't think it would be right to kick him out of game 4 unless it is ABSOLUTELY clear he did it on purpose and in this case I don't believe it is.

He should absolutely be suspended, it'll be a scandal if he's not only because that'd hurt Warriors chances of progressing to the next round. If he's allowed to play in Game 4 and they win thanks to his input (he was terrible last night) I'll rage. I don't see how anyone can look at the replay and say it was accidental. I'm not surprised by his reaction either, it's Draymond, he doesn't care.

Nobody really set the world on fire last night for the Dubs, but Draymond was particularly poor. I also do think he will be suspended even though as I said previously I don't think that is the right decision (Warriors fan bias).

Yep at least you're good to admit that it's Warriors bias :D

Green is particularly important for Warriors in these series, they're playing against a big Thunder line up and he's crucial in containing Ibaka, Kanter, Adams and Durant.

The reason I think it is intentional is because he goes up to flop, or flail or whatever, and then lands and plants both his feet, before kicking up. If the action had occurred the first time he was off the ground then maybe. But by the time he did it the ball was long gone and it was a conscious, second action rather than reflexive. He should be suspended going by precedent.

Well that's fair enough although you'll forgive the rest of us for seeing things differently.

This is not the first time the Warriors have been in a 2-1 hole in the playoffs since the start of last season. Against Memphis (sigh) and Clevelend they were able to make adjustments in Game 4s (putting Bogut on Tony Allen, making Igoudala a starter and primary Lebron defender) that enabled them to win each series with a 3-0 run. It'll be much harder to make that adjustment against this Thunder team.

I have just thrown a ball out of my office window then Biyombo appeared and got a rebound.
