NBA 2015-2016

Westbrook is 1-10 so far, OKC are actually being outrebounded, but they're doing well to only be down by 10.

And OKC are only 11-20 from the free throw line. Seriously the feel of the game is that Warriors are up 20, weird that they're only up 6.

Single-handedly keeping them in the game now. He's blowing up this 3rd quarter.

They'll need some production from Durant to keep up in the 4th...

Aye.

You really can't remove his tendency to take stupid shots without making him a less aggressive and worse player in the process.

Yeah he hit two 3's in a row immediately after I posted my comment, figures. He just kept doing the same thing. He jumped the lane and gave up an open 3 for Steph, but then did the exact same thing later for the steal and easy layup. Never change Russ.

And yeah Durant needs to have a 4th quarter like he did in game 4 vs Spurs.

Sometimes you just have take the bad with the good, like a high maintenance girl who's crazy in the sack. Or........Nani.

I don't think I'm comfortable with the "twin towers" nickname they're using for the Adams/Kanter lineup.

Thompson: 25
KD: 24
Curry: 23
Russ: 22

8 minutes to go. Long shot but all four guys could finish with 30+.

Warriors and curry with a pretty shite 4th quarter just about lost this now with that shot from kd. At home too. Big win for Okc this.

Ehh no need for fake controversy. Donovan called for timeout before Westbrook's travel.

Holy feck they beat Spurs in San Antonio twice, then Warriors in Oakland game 1. What the hell is going on lol

Wow. Didn't expect that, especially at half-time. Obviously the Warriors were poor in the 4th but I didn't feel as if the Thunder played that well either (Westbrook aside). Durant had some horrible turnovers and missed shots he usually makes.

Now we get to see what the Warriors are truly made of...teams that win game 1 in a 7 game series historically have a huge advantage...something close to, 70-30.

Warriors will be playing catch up.

We all knew this was going to be a great series and the Thunder winning game 1 has done no harm to that notion.

Huge 3rd quarter from OKC and poor behind the ark shooting from Warriors,OKC deserved winners for Game 1.
I wouldn't be surprised if the Western conference final goes to game 7.

Very surprised with the score, great come back for Thunder. Second game will be vital, a loss there would make it very hard for Warriors to come back in front of Oklahoma crowd. I still have them as favourites but you can already see they're getting tired there.

I know he frustrates and that some don't really like him, but Westbrook truly is a unique, exciting and great player. That third quarter he was absolutely every where. He defended Curry really well in the 4th too.

76ers just won the 2016 NBA draft lottery. Lakers get the second pick, Celtics got the third.

So thats Ingram most likely to the Lakers. Poor Simmons.

11 straight misses won't get it done. Cavs just shook off the ring rust within 5 minutes. Raptors too concerned with the outside shot and Lebron's passing.

Not watching, but is this Cleveland playing unbelievably well or the Raptors not really being good enough?

Raptors D could only make it easier if they laid down a path of lights to the basket, been far too soft on the inside. That said, the shots have to be made and I think the Cavs are shooting above 67% for the half.

:(

......Raptors in 7?
I don't know man. Maybe if JV is fit again.
You for sure know more basketball than me. I've been in TO for the past 5 years, and have only been following the Raptors for about 2 years. I might have to go to the Park again, if not Thursday, will probably go on Monday.

It's a straight run home for Cavaliers into the finals. Will be interesting to see Thunder v Warriors tonight, a win for Thunder there would put enormous pressure on Warriors, however I am expecting Warriors to win convincingly.

Sucks that no game of the conference finals starts before 2:30am where I am. Even for a lazy student like me it's kinda impossible to watch anything.

Raptors decided to protect the perimeter, which they did...Cavs only shot 35% from deep, but in doing that

“Again, you want to take away one thing [the 3-point shooting], but you don't want to open up a whole can of worms to give them layups, and that's what we've got to be disciplined with and understand where the help is coming from, the angles of your close-outs, the angles of your foot position, your stance on the basketball.

“Again, like I said, you take away the 3, but if you're not careful, you're giving up layups, and that's where we got to get that balance, and I think that's the key for this whole series. It’s a different series than last series. We've got to get our minds adjusted and bodies adjusted. The speed of the game is another issue, a quicker pace, a quicker foot speed for this team versus Miami and Indiana, so we've got to make that adjustment.”

The Cavaliers shot 55.4 percent overall, 19-for-25 on uncontested attempts, and pulled away with a 15-0 run bridging the end of the first and beginning of the second quarter

Dunks and layups galore

and you top that off with...

Toronto went 5-for-24 from 3-point range.
