NBA 2015-2016

Problem with DeRozan is that his shooting isn't great and his main attribute is drawing foul. I remember him scoring 25 or 26 free throws against Portland and only missing one. At SG you need to be able to shoot though to be consistent threat. He was tried at SF from what I remember but his rebounding is too poor. Personally I'd not take him for max contract at Blazers either but I think Lakers or someone else will pay him that. He's a good player but McCollum fits Blazers better now (though with his contract running out they will have to give him $20m+ and I'm not sure it'll fly).

He was shooting bricks all of last night, and its not the first time either. When he does poorly, he just sulks around the court taking stupid low-percentile shots, and whats worst is Casey doesn't have the balls to drop him.

I'd honestly be happier giving Norman Powell a proper shot next season. Might take a hit with our seed ranking but at least we wouldn't have to live and die by DeRozan.

Powell has improved lately, he looks like he has some potential but not sure if he will reach the same level as DeRozan. You may be better off keeping him and using him in a future trade as his value is significant.

Spurs embarrassing Thunder there. Wow. If the entire series go like that I can see Durant shopping for a house in Oakland (or whichever team in the East he might fancy).

 pathetic. Hopefully the Spurs don't let up, Thunder deserve it. Just such an arrogant, lazy team who don't deserve to win anything. No desire to work defensively and it starts with Durant and Westbrook. Such a dumb team.

I didn't expect this, but I guess I should have. Other than the fact that Spurs are Spurs, Aldridge always did well against OKC.

Reason being they have no-one to stop him. Ibaka and Adams can't keep up.

Even without Curry they're just pure class. I am hoping Portland might steal 1 game at Moda Center but that's pretty much the limit here. Atmosphere at Oracle Arena is just so intimidating too. Still great job by Portland getting here.

Spurs v Warriors is going to be so great. They are both a level above this season. Only question is whether Spurs are at that level or if the win over a hopeless OKC made them look better than they are.

No team is at the level the Spurs were the other night...that was definitely a one off. 82% in the first quarter from the field and around 70% in the first half. No team could have withstood that kind of a shooting night. But, where they are elite and will continue to trouble the Thunder is - defense. Russell Westbrook has to dominate his match up with Tony Parker (when it happens).

Heat v Raptors, 4 - 2
Cavs v Hawks, 4 - 1
Spurs v Thunder, 4 - 2
Warriors v Trailblazers, 4 - 1

Thanks for the tip, giving you are guaranteeing them scores, I've put a lot of money on them.

Shhh it's our first conference semi since 2001, let us have this.

Really happy for Raptors, they're the team I like the most in the East. Vintage memories of Carter and McGrady from my youth days plus obviously dinosaurs.

Surprised you have the Heat beating Toronto.

Toronto 4-3 Miami.

Spurs down 3 with less than a minute left. Still would bank on OKC choking, but at least game 2 turned out to be an actual game.

Holy shit OKC got lucky at the end there. 1-1, but I'm still sure Spurs take this without needing game 7.

Finding the outrage at the Waiters/Ginoboli situation strange. Missed a foul but Ginoboli's foot was one the line and should have been a tech foul anyway. Overall a good game, exciting. Thunder still did some dumb stuff in the last minute though.

As a Raptors fans I'm not even convinced we're going to see past the Heat. Yeah we've consistently got the better of them this season but like Neutral says Lowry and DeRozan have been pretty cack so far in this playoff season.

If Demarre Carroll gets his shit together we'd have a chance but if the last game was anything to go by he's still not fully recovered.

I said this to my wife (about Ginobili) at the time and actually rewound it a couple of times to be sure but it was hardly mentioned after the game. Even Chris Webber in the commentary (unbiased my arse btw) said you had to give the player out of bounds three feet and Ginobili was close enough to kiss Dion Waiters as well as stepping over the line. Having said that, no wonder the Thunder lost so many games after taking a lead into the 4th quarter. Sometimes they take dumb to a new level.

I think this could be tough since to win in 6 they are going to have to win 2 out 3 on the road. In the last five years the Spurs are 3-12 at OKC (including playoffs).

It will be interesting if Thunder take the next one as it will put serious pressure on Spurs to get a result in Game 4. Being 3-1 down would be very tough to pull back from.

I may be wrong but I don't think the Thunder have been as strong at home as previous seasons. I think the Spurs will definitely win one of the next two.

They're 2-0 against the Spurs this year at OKC (34-10 overall, including playoffs). I think the Spurs will still win the series but OKC's win in San Antonio now makes it the toss of a coin to me.

Yeah but the first one was the first match of the season, Spurs were not used to playing with LMA or anything at that point. They might have even rested players for the second game too. So while it might be important I don't think it tells the full story.

Blew 11-point lead within 5 minutes into 4th quarter... Come on

1 point in it with under 5 minutes. If they just stay within 2 and give Lillard the final shot, Portland will win.
