Problem with DeRozan is that his shooting isn't great and his main attribute is drawing foul. I remember him scoring 25 or 26 free throws against Portland and only missing one. At SG you need to be able to shoot though to be consistent threat. He was tried at SF from what I remember but his rebounding is too poor. Personally I'd not take him for max contract at Blazers either but I think Lakers or someone else will pay him that. He's a good player but McCollum fits Blazers better now (though with his contract running out they will have to give him $20m+ and I'm not sure it'll fly).
He was shooting bricks all of last night, and its not the first time either. When he does poorly, he just sulks around the court taking stupid low-percentile shots, and whats worst is Casey doesn't have the balls to drop him.
I'd honestly be happier giving Norman Powell a proper shot next season. Might take a hit with our seed ranking but at least we wouldn't have to live and die by DeRozan.
Reason being they have no-one to stop him. Ibaka and Adams can't keep up.I didn't expect this, but I guess I should have. Other than the fact that Spurs are Spurs, Aldridge always did well against OKC.
Everybody loves Draymond.Draymond Green!
Shhh it's our first conference semi since 2001, let us have this.Pacers just got screwed. Blatant foul on DeRozan.
Spurs v Warriors is going to be so great. They are both a level above this season. Only question is whether Spurs are at that level or if the win over a hopeless OKC made them look better than they are.

Surprised you have the Heat beating Toronto. No team is at the level the Spurs were the other night...that was definitely a one off. 82% in the first quarter from the field and around 70% in the first half. No team could have withstood that kind of a shooting night. But, where they are elite and will continue to trouble the Thunder is - defense. Russell Westbrook has to dominate his match up with Tony Parker (when it happens).
Heat v Raptors, 4 - 2
Cavs v Hawks, 4 - 1
Spurs v Thunder, 4 - 2
Warriors v Trailblazers, 4 - 1
Yup, not something I would bet my house on, especially in 6 games.Surprised you have the Heat beating Toronto.
Toronto 4-3 Miami.
I said this to my wife (about Ginobili) at the time and actually rewound it a couple of times to be sure but it was hardly mentioned after the game. Even Chris Webber in the commentary (unbiased my arse btw) said you had to give the player out of bounds three feet and Ginobili was close enough to kiss Dion Waiters as well as stepping over the line. Having said that, no wonder the Thunder lost so many games after taking a lead into the 4th quarter. Sometimes they take dumb to a new level.Finding the outrage at the Waiters/Ginoboli situation strange. Missed a foul but Ginoboli's foot was on the line and should have been a tech foul anyway. Overall a good game, exciting. Thunder still did some dumb stuff in the last minute though.
I think this could be tough since to win in 6 they are going to have to win 2 out 3 on the road. In the last five years the Spurs are 3-12 at OKC (including playoffs).Holy shit OKC got lucky at the end there. 1-1, but I'm still sure Spurs take this without needing game 7.

They're 2-0 against the Spurs this year at OKC (34-10 overall, including playoffs). I think the Spurs will still win the series but OKC's win in San Antonio now makes it the toss of a coin to me.I may be wrong but I don't think the Thunder have been as strong at home as previous seasons. I think the Spurs will definitely win one of the next two.
