Better than Ronaldo or Keane or Cantona or Schmeichel or Solskjær or VDS or Vidic or Berbatov?
Clyne would be actually a free agent............i would buy him even for 7-8m right now.

IMO he has 100% potential to be our future right-back.

I've seen 20-25 games (4 games in the stadium and the rest on the telly) with Clyne in the last two years and he has really impressed me.

You gotta love a free signing like that. Really makes the other teams jealous. SAF is getting a monopoly on English talent.

Apparently he can play leftback as well

well he can, but that's only because Stuart Pearce likes to play people out of position :) natural position is definitely as a RB.

he's received a letter for the GB team this summer...will be interesting to see if that materialises, especially given his mooted transfer.

That Nick off Twatter said it's a done deal. He's that Man Utd youth guy. Don't know how reliable he usually is.

I just find it a bit odd. We don't need a right back. We need a left back.

Don't understand this signing, especially since Rafael is playing so well. Tbh he was solid against us in the League Cup, I didn't see anything exceptional. However Fergie's record of signing English players is absolutely amazing, so I'm not gonna doubt his opinion.

Worth noting that he was born in 1991 so wouldn't need to be registered in our 25 man Premier League squad for next season. He would though have to be registered in our 25 man Champions League squad in order to be eligible to play in that competition.

I've noticed a few of those types of comments from RR recently. You trying to compete with friendlytramp, Richio?

I'm not going to go on about it again. I know someone who tells me stuff occasionally that is usually right and he's insistent that whilst we've scouted gaitan we aren't pursuing a deal for him, or debuchy but are interested in witsel. I asked him about clyne today and he said he doesn't know so I'm no use on that one I'm afraid! I guess I/we will have to wait and if he's right. I just pass it on. Believe it, don't believe it, I'm just passing it on.

DM saying Newcastle looking to secure him to replace Danny Simpson, who has yet to agree a new deal (which i don't understand at all).

Hard to say when a player has played at a lower level his whole career. There's a big gap in playing for a Championship side and being picked for the Brazilian national side (I know he hasn't been capped yet but Fabio has and that's pretty much the same comparison).

I would at least bet he's got a lot of the qualities that made Neville good. 123 league games and only 21. You got to be a hard working professional player to reach those kind of numbers.

That's really impressive, but still I believe that Rafael will become our Nr. 1 Right Back. Despite some childish errors that he had made in the past I think that he has potential to become one of the best right backs in Europe. But on the other side I don't know if he can reach his potential here, Fergie seems to favor Jones and Smalling in that position.

So has he de-Clyned our offer or are people still in-Clyned to believe that he'll come here?

He's surely an interesting prospect. Good height for Premiership and from what I saw, not a bad pace.

He definitely deserves some chance to play on the higher level.

feck off.

1) I've done nothing...........the "100%" is my prediction and not a information you cnut.
2) I've never said i'm a ITK you cnut.

Chill out.

Please don't.
