The only thing I don't like about him is his hairstyle. I'd be very interested in pinching him.
I think the only reason he has his hair like that is so that he doesn't look 100% like Jay Z..

 But now he looks more like Miguel... below is a picture for those who don't know who Miguel is

Solid defender. Has a great shot on him. Would rotate well with Rafael. Sign him up for up to £20m.

Not United quality sadly. At least judging from this game agaisnt us. Young has troubled him all evening and he's offered nothing going forward. And I was just warming to the idea of him,but no,he wont do.

Just one game, he's still the on form RB in the league. He troubled Arsenal during their game and credit to Young he's been playing well lately. Clyne did have one dangerous shot at the end that went just wide.

If it meant i didn't have to watch Valencia at right back again then i'd be more than happy for Dr Dre to fill in.

He can shuttle back, bomb forward, dig in, muck out, tune in,drop out... to top it all off he can do everything consistently, Rafael struggles to perform be it through injury or sheer madman moments. A measly offer 15 mil should secure his soul, for our empire.

For fecks sake...

Oh boy. :p
Your alerts might be about to blow up.

Promising defender with Premier League and International experience. He's young, gets forward and tracks back with pace, tackles well.
Sign him up on the cheap to play backup for Rafael.

It's quite disrespectful to the player for him to be constantly courted on here as simply a back up to Rafael.
Clyne has had a fine season so far - much better than anything we have seen from our Rafael. Why would he consider coming to us to play #2 to a guy who is no better based on the last few seasons?
If he came to us, hopefully it would be to start as RB and mean we shift Rafael on. Injury record is horrendous and that alone doesn't warrat a new contract.

If we sign him, he isn't playing backup to Rafael. Its only people on here who seem to rate Raf. Everyone else in the game reckons we should be looking for a perminant right back. He's a good player, but his form last year, his hot headedness and injury reckon probably tells you he'll never be our first choice.

Clyne has not been better than Rafael's best season. At his best Rafael didn't get skinned often, Clyne does. He's an offensive fullback who works hard but hes not solid

One plays for Man United and the other plays for Southampton. Rafeal shouldn't get skinned as often. The opposition doesn't/didn't get in our half nearly as much.

Quality player that's having a big season at present. Must say I can see him more in an arsenal shirt than a utd one.....

Our style of play requires us to have an offensive fullback. For which, I think Clyne is a better option than Rafael, based on last two seasons and injury record.
His crossing is bloody good too.

The team that the players play for is irrelevant in this case, if Clyne is getting skinned, then that is his fault, nothing to do with his team.

Oh God here we go.

Either you have the memory of a fish, or just forgot to watch the 2012-2013 season.

Maybe that is because we watch him the most, every minute he has played for United, whereas other fans just watch MOTD and remember him for the one-off blunder or for one rash challenge.

Just as we underrate James Milner (as does everyone else), Man City fans know that he is a very decent footballer and a good player to have in your squad.

When he is fit, he is among the best RBs in the world both offensively and defensively, however he is nowhere near healthy enough to be our only proper RB option. I am all for trying to find a first team replacement now.

He can play either side and would be effective as a full back or a wing back. Would be a no brainer for us.
