The problem is that the only one available at an astute price has just gone off the market. So if we do buy astutely, we'll end up with Fellaini.
Just over a month to go until the season starts. Most of the top clubs have already made signings, so it should only be a matter of time till we make one.

Anyone but Fellaini. I've read a bit about Ezequiel Cirigliano who is apparently meant to be a very good prospect. He is 21 and plays for River, and my knowledge goes as far as the fact that he is class on FM. Anyone on here seen him play?
It is quite depressing from a "transfer muppet" point of view being a Utd supporter in this Summer window so far, given the sheer amounts of talented players that have already been taken by other big clubs while we've yet to do much at all. I hope the club have some good backup targets...

) those figures of 116 created chances are immense (whats not to like?) & it beats both Ronnie & Messi combined - they both take free-kicks also. Thats not to mention the overall performance score for last season between the two players - Evra had a score of 999 & Baines was 1784 I wouldnt want to see Evra go either, but i got my head around that possibility when it was rumoured that Evra was considering a move to Monaco (for "family reasons") quite some weeks ago, how true that is i dont know, but if there's any uncertainty then we must cover our bases & Baines would be a fantastic replacement for sure.
I cant see Evra being happy if we were to sign Baines, would be a difficult situation alright, but Evra's 32 now & we'll have to go lookin for a replacement soon enough - we cant think that Fabio is gonna develop in the same way as Rafa has either in my opinion & competition is alot stronger now domestically & in Europe, than it was when Fergie slid Rafa into the team as a starter. Its a predicament for any manager thats for sure!
