No matter how many times I see this I still laugh.
The amount of characters in this small set is ridiculous.
It's a bit like the Last Supper.

The La's Scuppered, if you will.

It's a work of art now.

Like Duchamp with the pisser.

Fits right in.

I lobve how one dodgy season and he suddenly becomes shit, forget all that he's achieved in the previouis 10 years, no that one dodgy half season makes him shit. Just like that dodgy season Klop had eh?.
Its not like Liverpool fans to forget their history is it lol. Twonks.

Its Utd fans in the Klopp thread now writing Klopp off because of that season. Comprehension.

Fwiw, I didn't want Jose to get the job but to do it in the most classless way possible right under Ferguson and Moores disapproving noses holds many golden moments to come for us. Unless he walks the league every season but until/unless then golden moments. ;)

Hello i am portuguese, i didn't know i wouldn't be able to join the main forum when i registered but i'll still post it here since i think it is important info that Man Utd fans would like to know.
In Portugal Mourinho said a couple years after he left Chelsea for the first time that if the oportunity came he would gladly accept a Chelsea offer but his ultimate goal was to coach Man Utd for a long time. The interviewer even asked like Sir Alex Ferguson? And he replied affirmatively.

I'm not sure if those words in that interview made it to some international tabloids or not but i don't think so since the forum is all thinking he's leaving after 2 years or so (as he usually does).

The excitement just keeps building. Feck me, I haven't been this excited in ages.
:drool::drool::drool::drool::devil:

So... is it official? I have seen nothing from the club. Is Jose Mourinho really the next Manchester United manager? This is a weird feeling. Someone we have despised for so many years, with Chelsea and Real Madrid (at Inter, it was less confrontational + United beat them in a C1 game if I recall), will be now the next manager... maybe a fantastic manager, who might be able to motivate again the old Rooney, who might get the best out of the youngsters OR the biggest failure of all times a la Chelsea #2 after the title.
That title alone makes him a success at Chelsea.

I honestly don't think I could be more excited for the new season as I already am. Nevermind the excitement of our new manager, the league itself has so many potential great teams fighting for the title/top 4 that I think we're in for an almighty fun ride.

No dude.
Its just that this is the first manager we have had since SAF, who is of his level, when it comes to winning mentality.
Where Moyes finished 7th and thought he did a good job. Where LVG finished 5th and thought he did a good job. Mourinho (and Fergie) would be livid if they finished out of the top 3.
Mourinho is Fergie's replacement and it's taken 3 years.

And that's why there is so much excitement on this forum and even in the World's media. This is a huge deal.
Spot fecking on

The difference is that Mourinho has achieved far FAR more than Klopp has, more than Klopp probably will in his entire career.
Perspective.

Shit football this

That was in my opinion the most I've enjoyed watching football other than maybe a couple of the United sides over the years. You do need to remember however he had a front 4 of a peak Ronaldo, Benzema, Ozil and Di Maria.

I'm sure even LVG could have won the league with those 4 up front.

Cool but its hardly news, Mourinho has been brown nosing us for years.

Golden moments? Whatever golden moments he brings to Liverpool fans its nothing compared to numerous golden moments Liverpool has given us. Just this year seeing them celebrating a draw vs Wba was golden.

Im really excited. The fact he wanted this job so much and that opposing fans think its a mistake makes me even more excited.

Not worried about fictional things. Just the facts. Ferguson v Jose. Parts 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9....
If Sir Alex didn't clash with 5th place LVG and the complete betrayal of how United played, why would he fall out with one of his closest friends in football?

Yeah, I don't understand why many seem to consider it a given that he'll only be here short-term. He's ticked most boxes in his managerial career, but longevity with one club where he has to build and rebuild is a challenge he's yet to complete (and International management). I don't think it's a short-term appointment.

Couldnt imagine people celebrating Mou's appointment 4-5 years ago.

Sad times.

Miss you, Fergie.
Mourinho should of took over when Fergie left but no, the great Utd is too good for him. Look where that got us.

I for one am very exciting for the impending news.
For me Jose hasn't lost any of his tactical geniuisness. You can point at his bad season this season, but Klopp had that in his last season.

I also think, with Roman, you have a very interfering owner which Jose doesn't like. He wanted Stones, but ended up with two defenders he didn't want. That is a relationship built on tension. You could mention many other signings that were forced upon him also.

Whether he stays here for 3 years or more, he demands the best players, and that is what we need right now.
Also, it's quite apparent he has wanted the United job for years, and his desire to work in England, in my opinion points towards a longer stint than 3 years, but only time will tell...

Wanted him to take over. Klopp (I hate saying a Liverpool manager was my dream) and Ancelotti are the only two I've wanted over him. Ancelotti only over him due to Mourinho's controversial antics. People don't realize what an ass Fergie was at time, he was just our ass...

I think you are right. Jose was livid when his team was at 17th last year.

I agree, I think we may see a different side to Mourinho and I think this is the job he's desired for a long time... Watch us appoint Rafa now

Don't be silly. I was googling every 2 seconds hoping... only to see Moyes confirmed. Better late than never.

More than half the forum wanted him to take over from SAF.

Yup, I was certain he was coming since the timing was perfect when he was done at Real and thus had completed his tour of europe.

It was his interview after they knocked us out of Europe that had me convinced. SAF reactions that night made me think he had decided to retire and then Jose came out after the game trying to fit his entire tongue up United's arse.
