I'd imagine José got sacked both times. The mutual consent thing just emanates from Abramovich's respect for Mourinho - the same kind of respect that led him to give us Petr Cech.

Made my day.Buses are difficult like that.
I suspect that it also means that JM won't be able to manage another PL club for quite a while.

16thCan't say i'm surprised. From champions to 15th is awful. Not even Moyes pulled that one off.
Do you really need evidence with all that it´s happening? The Hazard injury story, Mourinho´s press conference comments about some players, the overwhelming majority of Chelsea fans thinking the same? The type of effort and performance of key players after the same players won the league and the league cup last year. You can understand them not being at the top but fighting relegation? It´s obvious Mourinho has responsability in this but the players aren´t blameless and played a big part in Chelsea´s downfall
What is he still doing in your teamDoes this mean I should keep Hazard in my Fantasy Football team...?
A bit shocked. I'm still hoping for John Terry as player-manager.

what is bollocks is fans wanting him has manager.Bollocks.
Bought him in for Sanchez (when Sanchez got injured). At that time, he played in strike and looked quite decent. They had the easiest of fixtures and no one else had him. As he kept farting air each match, I kept thinking "ooh they got TEAM X next I'll give him one more chance"...What is he still doing in your team
Unbelievable. In the past few weeks he did look increasingly resigned to losing his job. The fire was gone and his usual touchline passion just want there.
Yeah I don't really understand of those who would prefer Giggs over Mourinho.People saying they don't want him will regret it when we end up with Giggs. That would be far far worse.

Sure, I'm not the biggest fan of Mourinho and his antics, but to take Giggs over him we leave worse repercussions if things do go wrong.
From replacing Ranieri at Chelsea to being beaten by Ranieri to seal the fate. Full circle.
Who has said that?Yeah I don't really understand of those who would prefer Giggs over Mourinho.

If you've seen Sons Of Anarchy, you'll know what this hug signifies!
I think he's been borderline depressed since the beginning of the season - certainly long before they lost hope of qualifying for the CL. There was no chance he was ever going to last the season.
For me, this has nothing to do with an owner with an itchy trigger finger and everything to do with a man losing all motivation for the job.

Give Mourinho the job and move LVG to DOF, they're friends what could go wrong?
Spot on, something seemed wrong in the summer but I couldn't quite put my finger on it. To me, it seems that the Madrid job really changed him.
