Mourinho sacked

That's a shit excuse. We've heard that so many times now - remember the Chelsea fans proclaiming that he was starting to change his youth policy? Might have to bump that thread, makes Kentonio look like a right spanner.

It sums up his approach anyway. Other managers try to blood youth regardless of how long they plan on staying. It's good management to ensure you don't leave the place in a mess unlike Mourinho.

Mate I totally agree with you. It is not acceptable. .. I'm just trying to explain why he does it not justify it.

Fair enough, it was an aggressive post by me but no aggressiveness towards you. In case you thought otherwise.

The only thing I can think here, after some time thinking on it, Mourinho must have been absolutely unbearable behind the scenes for the players to turn like this.

He wrung as much out of them as possible last year and this year they looked shattered.

They should have bought in the summer but it wasn't clear what they really needed because everyone had performed well.

There's complacency there as well. Once results got iffy a lot of those players just didnt seem to know what to do to turn it around. Not a lot of fighting spirit on display.

The fans understood what happened, many players played against Mourinho with the goal to get him sacked.

The players involved in particular are:

Ivanovic
Matic
Fabregas
Hazard
Diego Costa

Football is full of little sooks these days, it's disgusting. You're getting paid millions of dollars, just shut the feck up and play.

If he was one of the rebels then he's a real nasty piece of work.

Not really.

His man management has always been one of his strongest points and why you'll struggle to find many players he fell out with at Porto, his first spell at Chelsea and Inter Milan.

Only since his time at Real Madrid has he started marginalising players and even that was in his final season.

Turned down a move to Roma apparently, think he's bound to join us. Hopefully he'll have a point to prove, think he'd suit us to a tee tbf, seemingly loves the club and SAF and shares a similar passion to most of us. Has always been my backup to Pep.

Think fsw is likely close to a sack as well. Perez might wise up and fire him just in time while Jose is still available. Cant think of any other high profile managers who will take the real job right now.

If however Jose ends up at United, I think you guys will win a couple of trophies even with the clusterfeck of a squad you have right now.

Clearly the players were not playing for Mourinho, and they should be held accountable for that.

That said, serious questions have to be asked of any manager being able to piss off the players to such an extent that they do something like that/this.

It happens to a decent amount of sides when shit hits the fan like this, to be fair. It happened under Moyes. It's probably happening under LvG - albeit nowhere near the extent of Chelsea.

Chelsea have had a continuing problem with player power though

Probably wouldnt take much given that atleast cesc and pedro had a history of being active mourinho haters.

I didn't think I would ever say this but I really don't want Mourinho in this club. He's so short sighted it's ridiculous. He's also terrible with relations within the club. How the feck do you manage to get in a row with your medical team???? If you look at a team like Inter, what kind of future was he building when playing Etoo out wide? It worked very well for a period and was exactly what they needed in THAT very match. Today there's no legacy at all.

He's also terrible when it comes to the media. Putting too much focus on the club, himself and the players. He could chose to shut the feck up a lot more often.

Developing youth players... Where do you even begin? Chelsea has produced absolutely NOTHING - and most of that is due to Mourinhos legacy. They don't even get a look in.

If we want to win the league next season, yes Mourinho can make that happen with a couple of signings. The cost of that will be the future and our club reputation as a gentleman club.

Caf darling pep could tell a story or two about that.

The players are in a lose-lose situation with the fans. If they play well people will say they deliberately under-performed to get rid of the manager. If they don't play well people will say it proves the manager was not the problem but the players.

Would they want him back? when he left he was only on speaking terms with 2 players
ramos, pepe and ronaldo are fast fading away, benzema is going to be jailed. The need an overhaul anyways.

They can afford to let Mourinho handpick the entire new squad.

He is still on good terms with Florentino and his close circle. Also has a loyal base - albeit a small one - of Madridistas. A recent poll in Marca has 50% of Madrid fans wanting him back as well if I'm not mistaken.

The thing that fecked him this year was all that shit with the doctor.
