Had he been our manager, many would have been supporting each sentence of his. That's the way it goes in football.
Well, most of the people who can look at him and his antics from neutral side don't agree with him, and say he is acting like a cnut.

Yes, as a neutral he is an abominable cnut. My point was, football fans have this mentality of "he is cnut, but he is our cnut" and they think it to be fair excuse. Not all mind you, but sizeable.

The same could easily have been said about SAF.
Mourinho probably said more shite in last month than Fergie did it in last few years.
Fergie rarely criticized other managers without them criticizeing him first, and Mourinho just criticised both Guardiola and Moyes in last few days even though no one said one bad word against him, if anything, Moyes praised him few times recently.
True. Doesn't change the fact that most neutrals would've said Ferguson was a cnut too. Mourinho is worse but SAF wasn't exactly Mr. Popular. Yet we still love the guy. That's the way football fans are.
I don't think MOST neutrals would say that, but can't argue that there is lot of them who never liked him. Mourinho is just something else, I don't think we should compare him to Fergie at all.
No pretty much every neutral would. I'm an Aberdeen so obviously love SAF possibly more than United fans do but that doesn't change the fact he's not well liked. It's the reason him and Mourinho get on so well, SAF says he sees himself in Jose.
I think it's important to draw some sort of distinction. They have similarities for sure. They like control, they like power and they like winning. And both are very strong personalities. But I do think there is a general respect and admiration Sir Alex had within the game that mourinho definitely doesn't. You can see it in the way young managers talk about him, you can see in the way his rivals ( barring the el fatso) talk about him. Yes, he is a "tough" man and doesn't like losing and does breathe "fire" at times, but putting that aside he is, for me, a classy individual. Sir alex would never eye gouge the oppositions assistant manager. He doesn't make everything about himself. In fact on his last day out at old Trafford, in his speech, on a day that was all about him, he made it a point to stress very strongly on the fans giving the next manager all their support. Yes, they have similarities, but I think it's unfair to club them together. Every manager has a cnutish streak, even wenger has made some absurd comments and some cnutish ones too. Sir alex has a sharp tongue for sure, but I simply cannot accept that he is devoid of class the way mourinho is. For me, I have never felt let down by sir Alex's behavior and conduct. On the other hand vato thinks mourinho was disgraceful in his conduct. No pretty much every neutral would. The difference is Fergie drew the line somewhere before "poking an opposition coach in the eye".
Exactly. Can you imagine sir alex stooping so low? fecking no.The difference is Fergie drew the line somewhere before "poking an opposition coach in the eye".
Ferguson was nowhere near as bad as Mourinho but I genuinely do think he was disliked by most neutrals. They see him as someone who moans, bullies referees, gets favourable decision and generally acts like a hypocrite. He may indeed be a classy man but I doubt most neutrals see him in that light.
He hates Spanish people, I won't be surprised if Azpilicuete finds it tough to get playing time now.
Is Jose really the answer at the Bridge? They always say never go back....
Not if they want to play in a stylish and attacking way. Jose is the most pragmatic coach going. His teams and ideas always lack something in terms of style compared to others(not results of course). When he had a load of superstars at Real he couldnt get them to shine.
