Mourinho | New old Chelsea manager

I don't mind him most of the time, but criticising Aston Villa for a style of football that they clearly don't play was pathetic. He said something along the lines of "when you play Villa you know it won't be a quality match" despite Villa beating Liverpool 3-0 last season and playing them off the pitch as well as putting in loads of great performances where they lost by a single goal.

As I said, I don't mind him but the media attention that he gets is ridiculous. I'm surprised Sky haven't rewritten their "50 greatest sporting decisions" to put in Jose's double substitution yesterday.

Because I'm sure Chelsea fans are exhilarated by Moyes :wenger:

You're a very bitter, obsessed and hysterical individual Noodle.

It's hysterical not to like someone who's a borderline psychopathic attention whore, thinks it's ok to poke other managers in the eye when he feels like, and justifies his failures on theories such as Unicef fixing the world of football against him?

He's more recently taken to making extremely dumb and non benficial comments in the hope it'll make people pay attention to him...I think he really is now one step away from being a proper mental. The defensive rants towards the end of his Madrid tenure were particularly worrying.

I don't understand why anyone who's supported United for more than 5 minutes could ever think having Mourinho as manager would be a good idea. It'd be like letting your schizo mate drive your Farrari in top gear on a busy motorway, with you in it, while he's on the verge of having a fit.

Obviusly some people just didn't pay attention to what happened at Real Madrid...despite this being particularly hard to do due to Mourinho constantly demanding everyone pay attention to him

Real Madrid is the biggest circus in world football, he is loved by Inter, Chelsea and Porto.

I don't get how being at the circus means it's ok to gouge other people's eyes or make needless personal remarks about a fellow manager, and them claim the world's charities are conspiring to make you fail...When you think about it, this isn't even twattish behaviour, it just isn't something anyone sane would do, whether they were a twat or not.

I don't get the impression he's loved at all in Italy, and no offence, but Chelsea love John Terry. Chelsea are about as different from United as two clubs can get...and I don't mean that in an insulting way. If United tried to run themselves how Chelsea do, they'd be in the Championship within 10 years.

It's also only here in England that the people seem to lap up Mourinho rather than notice what a Ihni binni dimi diniwiny anitaime he's being, but then that's hardly surprising since most of our journos like to act like they're still in a school playground.

Mourinho isn't loved by Porto. Respected, perhaps (and couldn't happen otherwise considering what he brought to our trophy museum) but he isn't loved by any means, he was a dick upon leaving and has basically ignored us since, rarely if ever mentioning us when talking about his past. Benfica fans appreciate him more than Porto fans - and still dream he might coach him one day later in his career.

on bbc news feed:

The Daily Telegraph's Ben Rumsby: "Mourinho on sparkling form here. On Tottenham's pursuit of Willian: 'That's the danger of medicals before contracts'. Mourinho on if Willian is about to sign: 'We have to do a medical'

How is that boring, inconclusive, vague and generic comment "sparkling form". pathetic. Seems more like Abramovich is still pulling the strings at chelsea with this signing, wont be long before his ego cant take it.

immediately removing his champions league medal springs to mind. he failed at madrid and got forced out by players and is now the second in command at chelsea again.

The media are so far up his arse it's unbelievable.

Don't worry, another clash of the super egos isn't far away, except this time, as well As comrade Abramovich and Jose Mememeurinho, there are the egos of the dozens of attacking mids they are signing who have no doubt all been promised plenty of football to add to the mix. A Chelsea meltdown is coming, might be a year or two away......but its coming.

I must admit the Willian bit was quite entertaining. We'd all be swooning if SAF pipped Liverpool to a transfer target and then proceeded to rub salt in their wounds during a presser.

I personally don't hate him. I respect his achievements. But like I said before, the media love is pathetic. It would brilliant if the guy they all are dying to see fail beats the guy whose arse they've got their heads stuck up, on Monday.

My old mum would have been spitting at the screen every time he came on, she utterly detested that sort of self-preening persona.

As said, I don't dislike him as such, but the media acting like a bunch of love-stricken 17 year old girls is pathetic.

This is boring. Jose clearly is one of those personalities that most people can only root for if he is on their side. No point commenting endlessly about his likability factor. English press love him because he indulges them at every chance.

Well its not hard to see why the English press love him in such an unbearable manner, they need all that drama to write stories and Mourinho is always the man they desire for.

Good God above. He must be paying them all to do this?
The good part is that beating them and making sure they don't challenge again like they haven't in recent seasons, is sure shot way of bursting the over inflated google eyed love fest the media have for him.

Also the man looks like he's aged 20 years in the last 6, what's up with that? Was Spain that bad an experience for him?

I think it genuinely might have been. I think he quite possibly believed he'd be the one to steer Madrid back to dominance in Europe and properly beat Barca. It really didn't work out for him, must have been stressful for someone with his ego.

feck. I really forgot how much of a massive, unbearable smug twat he is. His face reminds me of bad karma.
