Mourinho | New old Chelsea manager

He is probably still crying because SAF didn't recommend him as his successor.

So how come all this has happened? As far as I can see he's done about as we'll as anyone could at reining Barca in and getting Madrid back up to scratch in a short time. I don't follow the ins and outs so what went wrong? Did he get frustrated that the players couldn't maintain last season's performance in the league and started falling out with them?

Retard.

feck me, I know he inevitably fecks up every club he manages but I didn't expect it to be quite this obvious.

Poor Madrid fans.

Yeah, I don't know how Madrid will manage to recover from a manager not showing up at a press conference. He fecked up Inter which he left as a Treble winning side and Chelsea that reached CL final the season he left so bad too.

I remember reading Bobby Charlton on when he realised his time was up. He went for a normal 50-50, and suddenly the kid on the other team was there on he ball, way before him. And he knew that was it.

Not that I'm comparing my grammatical ability with Sir Bobby. I see myself at more of a Barthez figure... generally reliable but with moments of perilous unorthodoxy.

Haven't you seen his latest pics? moses is a hipster now.

Yeah, saw them. Bet he has a push bike with a wicker basket on the front.

Moses' attempts to cling to his youth make Cher look restrained in comparison.

I believe he was Fergie's first choice but the board weren't sold on him. I've always thought he'd be SAF successor until Sir Bobby Charlton all but ruled him out in an interview some time ago. To me, that's why the word "unanimous" was used when Moyes was announced. I just hope Abramovic keeps being himself, because if he decides to hand Mourinho absolute power and be a tiny bit more patient this time around, we just might regret this decision.

I don't give a shit where he's going as long as he gets the feck out of Madrid. I'm fed up with this clown now.

Only yesterday he came out saying that as long as he is a manager for Madrid, Lopez would be in goal... Never have I seen a professional manager holding a club ransom like he is doing now at the expense of a club legend.

Then Pepe came out defending Casillas saying that Casillas wasn't the bad guy in this whole affair and Mourinho replied that Pepe said that only because he's frustrated by Varane being a better defender.

He can feck right off, seriously.

Gotta love the Special One.

I'm on his side, though. The RM players are way too big for their boots.

I still hope Mou will manage United one day. I still miss him.

I'm on his side too, Madrid players feel they're bigger than the club and were trying to run the club from within. He's possibly the only man in the world who had the balls to put Casillas on the bench. He's actually been trying to fix what has been wrong about Madrid for years - too much authority given to certain players.

Madrid will never sort themselves out until the player power is removed. The managers are only the manager in name if they can't pick the team they want. I actually think its a sign of Mou's abilities and confidence that he is dropping Casillas. He is proving a massive point that he is the manager, regardless of whether he is leaving or not, he is in charge.

Then Casillas shouldn't have went behind the manager's back to leak things to the media.

I'm not judging if it was right or wrong, and neither of us should because nobody knows what really happened there..The fact that even Pepe and Ronaldo aren't defending their manger does throw a lot of doubt in there..

However, Mourinho benching Casillas and starting Adan ahead of him must have been pretty hard to take for Casillas either way.

I don't think there was anything to suggest that, Fergie has always talked about the managerial post as being long term so why would he suggest Mourinho who has not managed a club more than three years? He'll happily drag the reputation of the club and players through the gutter for his gain and I think that is why your club stayed away.

Pepe has been vocal, I think, about Mourinho, most probably because he'll be there next year and is thinking about his own best interests. Ronaldo hasn't said much, has he? His stance is one of someone not sure whether he'll still be at the club next year. He's keeping quiet, cos he could either follow Mourinho to his next club or be at Madrid next year, and actually saying anything could backfire for him.

Will Jose be suspended for any possible games for us now he was sent off in the cup final tonight? Or do managerial sendings off not carry on to the next club?

Agreed. People make the point that Moyes has not proved he can win a trophy yet. But Mourinho hasn't yet shown that he can plan for a club long-term, thinking beyond the next 1-2 years. The first post-SAF manager doesn't have to be there 25 years but he can't be a short-term fix without it uprooting the culture of the club.

And all his supporters prematurely started adding this trophy to his resume, to demonstrate what a success he's been.

Today kind of embarrassed me, in that I even toyed with the thought that I wanted him to be our manager. He does bring results, but boy can he leave things in a mess, and his man management skills are just dreadful. I'm now very glad we stuck with Moysey now.

I really wasn't looking forward to Mou United's backroom staff & subs doing synchronised protesting and faking outrage everytime a decision went against us. Thank Christ for Moyes.

He was always like this, even worse, I am not surprised at all.

I still want him at United. :D

Eh..going to bite since there's no white text. You want Mourinho yet you want Rooney rid for being a "dressing room cancer".

How does that add up when you consider the shenanigans Mourinho has been up to?
