Agree 100%. He seems like such a perfect fit and is clearly obtainable, even if the Saints hold out for a couple more million. Schneiderlin has made no secret of his desire to play for a CL club and Southampton don't appear to be ready to try block a move. I guess they are holding out for what they deem to be an acceptable fee.

I was all set for Morgan Monday which in the end got delayed to Morgan Wednesday which didn't go through and now I seem to have lost all hope in this transfer window all together.
I really need a good signing or two to get the juices flowing again and restore hope because I'am getting very worried and angry with the management again. Starting to feel like the Moyes summer...

Tw doesnt end when we go on tour. Sure it would be good to get players before that but it wont be a failure if we dont.
It will, it is not just a matter of getting the players in, you need to get them in on time.
LVG has said a million times one of the biggest reasons we had a slow start was most of his team were not formed on pre season. He didn't know the formation, who would play what role and if he needs to figure it out when the season starts it will cost points. Points we can't afford this season.
Maybay the team doesn't need to be 100% sorted before pre season starts but surely 75% should be there. They should play, team should be ready to go by august when we start CL play offs and the season starts. We really need a good start this time and pre season is is critical in that.

But you're panicking based on a single report. You should keep an open mind that the truth may be completely different, or just somewhere in the middle. Consider why Southampton might want it to be known that they are standing firm and rejecting bids. There were reports they rejected our Shaw bid too, and then we signed him 2 weeks later for the same reported fee.
Hopefully yeah, its just so frustrating how long we seem to take!
