is it too early for Kermit gif?
Is it feck no, unleash the mafakka.

This would be far too sensible (boring) a signing to bring out any such gifsis it too early for Kermit gif?
James Ducker said we were in "pole position" in his Times column today
A midfield three of:
Schneiderlin - Herrera
--------Carrick---------
Freeman?I feel like having a person in the squad who's first name is Morgan should have been a priority for years.
10/1 to stay at Southampton -- 4/9 to come here, 13/8 to go to Arsenal.
It'll happen the day the lovechild of Cantona and Scholes makes his debut. It's rare when a potential signing would basically please everyone at Redcafe

He would have been perfect to narrate our zombie passing years.Freeman?
Feck right off with that. Might as well not sign him if you are going to use him like that and put two true wingers with real pace on the bench.------------------------Rooney-------------
--SchweinsTiger------Mata--------Di Maria
--------------Schniederlin---Carrick------
---Shaw----Otamendi-----Ramos---Valencia
...?
Is Schneiderlin actually that good though ? I always feel that Southampton play a system which suits all their defensive players and they all kind of look better than they actually are.
Dig out the video of his performance v Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and there is your answer
LW? Go to bed.------------------------Rooney-------------

When Woody enters the scene, you move out of the fecking wayDid Arsenal's reported interest cool or what? Felt like they were front runners for his signature for a long time.
Arteta has not played a game for us since November. Rumor is he may quietly retire this summer and become a coach. Even if he is fit to play again, he was in rapid decline before his injury and is not at the required standard anymore and neither is Flamini.
If I'm being honest, Coquelin is probably the only midfielder we have who is good enough to start and loves defending. Ramsey/Wilshere constantly abandon to central midfield area which leads to Coquelin having to make a lot of interceptions and tackles to compensate, which inflates his statistics. However Coquelin is an average passer at best, so Wenger has had to stick Cazorla in central midfield. This allows us to get our passing game going and Cazorla is good with the ball at his feet so won't get dispossessed.
Schneiderlin is good defensively and can pass the ball a bit so if we brought him in, we would be able to use one player instead of the two we do currently and this would allow Ramsey to return to his central midfield position instead of out on the right.
He can dig out Southampton's performance against us at Old Trafford whilst he's at it.

Big as in high profile or big as in number of letters?I'm just playing around. I don't think we'll sign all of them but wanted to see some big names on the team.

I like this one. Possibly playing Di Maria instead of Mata depending on who's playing better, or having Herrera play deeper, Di Maria play out wide and Mata behind the striker when Carrick is inevitably injured.GK

Where has this stuff come from? Is it just the Star?
With all due respect, I think you underestimate him slightly. He is a very good player. He's a good player. Not exactly a world class signing, but maybe he'll fit well into one of our round holes as a round peg.
I wouldn't count on us challenging for the title yet, with signings like Memphis and Morgan. At least not in the coming season.
I'm not ecstatic about this signing, just relieved that we signed someone in the midfield.
His chances of coming good are reasonable, but it is still a gamble.
24 million, if true, is a little high for Schneiderlin. Hopefully, it'll prove not to be too high.
He was the backbone of Koeman's Southampton. But, I have noticed that his defensive play is very reliant on a particular system. He needs others around him. Also, his attacking, in terms of his passing range, isn't the greatest. With all due respect, I think you underestimate him slightly. He is a very good player.
