If a good pre season is the only thing hindering Gündogan from being world class again.
I dont think it is that simple. The mentality part plays a big role, i dont think Gündogan is mentally strong, showed during his first season at Dortmund. Plus the extend of his injury is still unclear. Maybe he plays with pain killers or whatever they use to keep the symptoms quiet. I personally am not a big fan of going for him, too much risk when there are other options out there.
