Mo Salah

Has he taken any penalties this season?

Hell, could never imagine I would say that on an Egyptian player one day but currently he has a 50/50 chance to win Ballon D'Or with Ronaldo.

I think that Messi and Ronaldo bracket needs to be expanded one player...

Its the fact he's doing this for Liverpool that makes him stand out.
You don't have to play for Barca or Madrid to be the best in the world. Swap them around and Barca still wins La Liga and would have ripped Roma apart.
Like tonight.

to be fair swap Salah and Messi around and im not sure Barca do win La Liga and not really sure it makes a difference against Roma.

How do Liverpool keep managing to get these unreal players without any competition. Suarez, Torres, Coutinho, Salah. All brilliant and bought for relatively low fees and all turned in to world class players

To think Chelsea could've had the two best players in the league.

Not even worth laughing at cause at least chavs are much more bearable than the cretins they ended up at

Maybe their coaching team are on some next level shit

Neymar 14/15 scored 39 goals all club competitions if I recall correctly. And that was his best individual season for Barca. Salah is doing equally as good.

Consistency though, Neymar has been smashing them in since he was 18, Salah has had one outstanding season and turns 26 this year.

Suarez, Coutinho, Salah, ... it is really amazing how successful Liverpool have been in getting top notch attacking players. Not so good at keeping them, though.

He is genuinely the Egyptian Messi, but faster. Doesn’t have the passing ability but so much of his game is so similar.
The little chipped finishes he keeps coming up with are very similar to Messi.

Still find it hilarious that i argued with people on here who would of preferred Perisic over Salah last summer :lol:

Do we think Liverpool will sell him if Madrid come in with a £150m offer? Imo they'd be mad to, he's the closest thing to Messi around atm.

If they do sell that's a death blow to any ambition Liverpool have of chasing silverware.

Torres (who everyone knew about) and Coutinho aren't really at the same level as Suarez and Salah

Salah seems like such a nice guy he would miss his next chance out of respect for Roma.

Mental given his history. Absolutely nothing suggested this season was on the cards.

That’s not true. Many thought he would do great for Liverpool and was one of the signings of the summer. Was the first in my fantasy teams for example.

Nobody was expecting this level of performance mate he’s never scored more than 14 goals in a season before this year, he’s almost 26.

Ballon D'or is currently a three way between Messi, Ronaldo, and Salah. If Ronaldo or Salah win the CL they are a lock. If they don't then Messi edges it with 2 trophies to none for Ronaldo and Salah. I don't expect Portugal, Argentina or Egypt to be the near the world cup final.

Who would win La Liga then?
You almost had it by default! The unbeaten run is different though.

Can't help but admire him. His composure is out of this world. Sometimes you just have to forget about the team who is playing and appreciate the football one special player produces.

you know that Salah has begun his career in Europe just 6 years ago ? It's hard to start your career in Egypt then to Basel, got stamped in one year in Chelsea before getting your first run at a really good team.

However, Salah's numbers have been increasing non stop through his career. Klopp used him to his best, played on all his strengths and that's why he scoring that lot now. He thrives on moving behind defenders and Liverpool are doing this all the time, not sticking on the line to throw crosses.

Real Madrid desperately need a right winger.

@carvajal make it happen
 he would be a great toy for august.
Until today I was not very convinced.
I thought it was too much money after only one top season but when your team is suffering at home, and in the semifinals of Champions you invent that goal. Cleaning the cobwebs of the corner ... He seems touched by a magic wand.
Right now Florentino has to be excited,as everybody (besides ACS is the name of this company )
I'm not sure about Zidane
