Fair fecks to the guy, deservedly winning POTY award, not sure he can repeat this kind of a scoring season though. I remember watching our game against Liverpool in the autumn with my Liverpool supporting friend and I remember him screaming the whole time how Salah was a good player but his finishing was shit.

Not as good as prime Ronaldo and Messi but he's been the best player in the world this season. Deserves the Balon D'Or.

I am surprised why people think he can't do it again next year. The guy creates a goal out of nothing time and time again. He has pace, hard work, and technical ability. The only thing we don't know about is his mental toughness but being rejected by Chelsea and coming back like this surely means something. If he was someone who was reliant on service from others or pace alone then I would understand him not replicating it next season. But as it stands he is going to be the star player next year as well in the PL.

I think it's the system he plays in, with Mane and Firmino all being able to play as a forward. Not sure how he played at Roma but he plays almost as a striker at times with the runs he makes.
Credit has to go to Klopp as well I think for the system and players they have.
