Mo Salah

2 goals 2 assists.

Gotta be the biggest improvement in a player I’ve ever seen. He’s gone from decent to world class in a 7 month span.

God I feel like a Liverpool fan desperate for someone to take Ronaldo away from United. This guy is fecking unreal.

Liverpool simply won't allow it. A player who is shattering record after record and has a good chance of carrying them to a CL win.

Madrid would have to offer £250-300 million before Liverpool even answer the phone to tell them no.

The same was said about Coutinho. Didn't end so well.

He's 1 year into a 5 year contract. They would get exactly as much 2 years down the line as they would now. What's the point?

It's not quite the same, Coutinho could be replaced quite easily. If Salah continues like this Liverpool should win the league next season, not a chance they'll sell him this summer.

What a turnaround for this guy, unbelievable. Playing like a peak Messi, just can't believe it.

He’s incredible. Never expected this kind of return in his first season. Hope he fecks off to Madrid.

If he does this again next year then big clubs will be swooping but I still feel it would be risky paying 200m for him at this stage.

Their front three were easily obtainable and for then all to end up at Liverpool is a travesty, Salah has that fear factor about him, defenders give him that extra yard of space because they know what he can do, hopefully Real Madrid buy him and not Hazard, I don't fear Hazard as much as Salah.

An absolutely great player... However his biggest asset seems to be that every opposition team look at him and see Nathaniel Clyne.

Every time I watch him the opposition treat him like a mediocre full back instead of one the two most potent attackers in the world right now. The amount of space he's given in almost every game is astounding. It isn't even giving him an extra yard as they believe he's very quick or a great dribbler... Whenever I see him it's genuinely leaving a 10 yard radius around him as if he's radioactive.

Surely at this level defenders and managers are watching lengthy videos of him and building tactics around the fact that he's by far their biggest attacking threat. Surely they saw Mourinho's tactics and thought "maybe we'll give that a go", but no.

I don't see anything preventing him from putting at least 30 goals each season. With this way Liverpool play and his finishing he'll always be the same. People were saying similar things about Kane as well earlier.

You can't beat basic biology. Players like Salah in this form will find a way to create space more than not.

He knows where the goal is. Of course he isn’t messi, but he strikes the ball in an eerily similar way. I don’t like it.

Can someone please turn his head with £500k a week?

Absolute fluke of a season will never every come close too anything like this again. Certainly isn't as good as the number this season.

Just a massive, massive fluke all season long.

A massive, massive fluke is winning the lottery, not banging goals week in, week out for the whole season.

The "players" that you refer to in terms of the Premier League are non-existent. He's in the process of breaking every record going. No idea what the biology comment relates to.

Didn’t stop Mbappe being sold for this amount though? An 18 year old who hadn’t even had half a full season.

Why weren't we in for him in the summer? Everyones crying for a RW and surely we had the advantage of the manager actually knowing him?

Nobody was expecting this level of performance mate he’s never scored more than 14 goals in a season before this year, he’s almost 26.
Neither did Liverpool. They’ve been quite open in stating that they didn’t to use him like this, but saw something in him early on and adapted.

They're basically one man team. They fall off completely after he leaves the pitch for the second game in a row. This alone is enough for him to be a contender for Ballon D' Or.

That's exactly what I'm thinking.
Next season will be interesting. If he can repeat next season what he did this season, then LFC have a truly World Class player on their hands.

How do they keep getting these 'soon to be' world class players?

Countinho, Suarez and now Salah, They seem to get them just as they are on the cusp of turning into worldies.
