Michael Oliver

not because the decision was close, they showed the freeze frame of when the pass was made, he wasn't miles off and was pretty much inline with the 2 players I mentioned, he may well have been offside but you lot are acting like he was off by yards he wasn't it was pretty close
It was as clear real time as it was during the replay.

by the way, I wanted Arsenal to win, when Leicester aren't directly involved I want the result that causes the most chaos, also anything that stops the Pep media wankfest is always welcome.

This is why Jimmy likes Oliver

are those stats genuine? can't say I have ever really noticed Oliver in a game he's reffed us in, which usually means there isn't a clanger dropped, I don't like him I just don't hate him, now if this thread was about Jon Moss...

Dude, you're actually saying that was onside despite the still photo of it being offside.
no I'm saying it was close enough that it wasn't outrageous, people are acting like he was yards offside he wasn't it was close enough I can see how it was missed.

and again, it wasn't Michael Oliver's decision so to hammer him for it isn't fair

Totally agree with this, think it was arsenal players standing round like dummies waiting for the whistle that made him look yards offside instead of half a foot

Nah I’m just enjoying the irony of United fans moaning about biased refs after all the years you had them.

From the replay it looked like Koschielny and possibly even Bellerin we’re playing Silva onside, certainly close enough for doubt in the assistants mind, which in case you forgot, the benefit of goes to the attacker
 clearly offside, stop spouting shite.

Micheal Oliver will officiate the derby..
Congrats everyone.. We now play against 12 men

Fecks sake, he strikes you as the most insecure person on the planet.

Selective memories. 2014 - denied City three stone-wall penalties in the derby.

Wasn't there a stat to show which ref has given most no of red cards etc against Utd

FFS, they just want City to win the league.

They really do.

There is absolutely no reason to put this guy in charge, he can't handle the big occasion and clearly hates United. We don't stand a fecking chance.

I'm not sure that he is biased.

I'm pretty sure he is just inept.

I don't ever care for referees but this one is not good news.

I think most referees make mistakes and are genuinely not biased.

With him I think he is biased. That Joe hart incident is all you need to know.

'm pretty sure he is just inept.
Well, he has made some big decisions against us, while ignoring similar stuff against opposition. And this is not just one match, but multiple. Depending on one's view, he maybe biased or just useless.
In a hard fought derby, he is the last man I would want to officiate.

Micheal Oliver was the one that gave Hererra a second yellow because Jones tackled the same player a minute before.

Based on what has come out of Clattenburg, I'm confident that Oliver decided before that game that no one was touching Hazard and so gave a foul every time one of our players came close to him.

Completely inept referee.

Clatz last year Oliver this year. Mental that the two ref's that feck us over worst will ref the games which are perceived to mean the most in the title race. Last year the suspicions were justified by Clatz completely bottling the Bravo assault on Rooney in the area.

Clattenburg wasn't biased, just massively overrated. I literally can't think of one favourable decision from Oliver yet I can think of several to the opposition.

Yep, think we can forget about making this a physical affair.

Oliver is about the most pussy ref you can get. Suits City down to the ground, even lets headbutts go unpunished if you're wearing a blue shirt. It's a sign of affection in Magooville.

Expect a City pen and maybe another sending off for us though.
