Michael Oliver

Allowed Fellaini to kick the ball there which was good of him.

The di Maria incident was textbook officiating. He dove and then grabbed the ref. Totally deserved.

Yeah, no complaints over the 2nd yellow. The 1st yellow was garbage though. No more of a dive than Welbeck's who was trying to win a penalty, no yellow for that.

Bellerin should have gone off for a 2nd yellow on a rash challenge on Young which prevented a purposeful attack.

We should've seen another Arsenal yellow but beyond that he hasn't done much wrong.

wenger should get his match fee today for taking off players he should have done.

He is totally inconsistent though

Welbeck dives: nothing
Januzaj dives: yellow

He is so eager to book a united player when he can.

So he was right to ignore the second yellow card offence from the arse RB?

It wasn't a second yellow card offence. It was a foul. If it was a yellow card offence, Rojo should have been booked for doing the same thing in the first half, but he wasn't.

A foul doesn't always mean a yellow card, there were plenty of people covering and he went for the ball.

I'll echo what other are saying, he's got most of the big decisions right. One he got wrong was a huge decision though, not sending Bellerin off. Game changing mistake.

Pretty much

plus previously Joe Hart stuck his head in his face and he gave him feck all, Di Maria grabs his shirt to get his attention and its a second yellow...

Of course it was a yellow card offence. Young went past him near the box and he clipped him down. When you stop a player that has gone past it, it's a yellow.

Rojo fouled Chamberlain near the box, after he'd gone past him. It was a very similar situation. Didn't get booked. So am I to assume you think Rojo should have seen yellow for that and thus also been sent off when he got his second yellow later?

Yeah it was stupid not to book Hart for that. That hardly means he should ignore it when Di Maria clearly deserved to sent off too.

What are you fools seeing? Every 50:50 has gone Arsenal's way. Has got most of the big ones right though.

That being said, he's not the reason we're losing - that'd be Valencia's backpass.

if a manager takes a player of literally seconds after the ref has failed to send him off it speaks volumes. probably wouldn't make a difference as we're a bit poo and even moyes managed to beat this shower at home but none the less they should have been down to 10 before us.

I don't know which incident you are referring to so I can't say. Bellerin's foul had intent.

Bullshit, he was past him and got legged up, it was as clear a yellow as you get.

Plus as has been pointed out already he didn't book Welbeck for what he ruled as a dive but does Januzaj.

I'm not mad at him because most of the big calls, he got them right as much as it annoys us. ADM dived several times and he had no right to touch the ref. He deservedly got sent off, just Januzay deserved to be booked for his dive.

He got the important calls right.

I would disagree with the yellow on Di Maria. That certainly wasn't a dive. No call would have been fine, but a dive was ridiculous. Additionally, he got a lot of the small ones wrong IMO.

Football isn't a non contact sport. He dove.

Then why is it always a free kick to Arsenal the moment there is even a hint of contact? The most annoying thing from this horrendous display has been every single 50/50 or small decision going Arsenal's way.Di Maria's yellow was hardly that different to what Sanchez got a free kick for moments before.

I'm saying it was a dive. I'd have to see a replay to know whether or not Ramsey fouled him or if it was just minor contact but regardless of that, it was a dive.
Doesn't matter if it was a dive if he was fouled first. If he was fouled first, the dive simply means he wants the free kick. His momentum was gone because Ramsey slowed him down by grabbing his arm. Ref failed to see that.
