He’s fast and very physical as well as technical. At his age he is probably one of the most likely to “make it” players based on potential, certainly more than Garnacho for instance. If we could sell Garnacho and buy Tel I think k it would be an upgrade more suited to Amorim too
 
How has this guy got more potential than Garnacho? What is that based on?

Tel has been fairly subdued this season, not really hitting the heights he did last season at all.
Is this just another excuse to crap on a current United player because it sure seems like one.
 
I know he’s obviously not played much at all, but this geezer has 0 goals this season?

This but control the pass while a defender is breathing down your neck and another is coming at you from infront.

Based on what? This guy has been at Bayern for 3 years and has started 8 Bundesliga matches.

You are right, he is wasted on our bench.
That is why he needs to go a team where he is almost guaranteed to get enough playing time and where he can develop.

Musiala isn't a winger, Coman is injured or coming back from injury half the time, Gnabry and Sané are very far from being world class much of their time and are candidates for being sold, Mueller first of all plays not on the left and second has been declining so much that he's only a sub himself. That's your "world class performers". The only one who is actually looking class consistently you did not mention: Olise. Plays on the other wing, of course, but that did not stop you with Mueller either.

When Kane isn't available they tend to prefer playing Mueller up front, who has never looked good as sole striker and has very visibly declined, rather than Tel. Tells you everything you need to know how highly they rate him as a striker, really.

I'll be honest, that's starting to look a lot better with regards to our system. Improving the striking option by bringing in Gyokeres as well as another midfielder for the Bruno Role and pur gameplay will start to improve drastically. Small pieces of the puzzle improved gradually. It'll click at some point and that's where the proper progression will start.

I dont think he is ready for a top team playing 4-2-3-1/4-3-3.

I think he would be best at teams like Inter, Leipzig or Frankfurt playing with 2 strikers.
 
So we’re selling one of our best attacking prospects and developing one of Bayern’s for them?

I think there's levels though. Tel has a massive youth pedigree and has been known to be the big French forward talent of his generation. Hojlund was released by Copenhagen and had a purple spell in a third tier league, followed by a spell at Atalanta where he scored eye catching goals but not at a particularly prolific level.

I think Garnacho, Mainoo and Amad have performed at very high levels at various time for the past couple of years and Collyer and Yoro have both been good this season so don't think its a total write off for development.

He is quite fast but his dribbling isnt good.
He could develop into a goal scoring left winger if he made smarter runs like someone like Son or Gnabry but right now that is also not his strength.

Last year he always got into good positions and showed good finishing but this year its gone.

He is still only 19 though and a great guy.
 
I hate to break it to everyone but Tel is crap as of now. He's having a horrible season and his performances are nothing but awful.
He might still become good somehow, of course, but we should not expect anything from signing such a player. Not to mention that our club is not a good place for a youngster who is struggling and needs mollycoddling.

Sadly I can't really say but he shouldn't have been put in the position of leading the line at United at that age and with as little experience as he had. His morale just looks shot. There is a player in there hope we get him a loan to a decent club that can get his confidence going. But he just looks shot.

What kind of transfer fee would you expect for him?
 
I think he will do well as a regular starter for a team. As a loan, will be an instant upgrade cover our 2 strikers.
 
Take the gamble on loan what do we have to lose.

Rashford exiled, kid was clearly talented otherwise Bayern wouldn’t of signed him, get a loan with an option, if we works out great, if he doesn’t move onto someone else.

With where we are in the league and our lack of options we can’t really be to picky to get us through till the summer.

It’s clear we are broke and looking for bargain bucket deals.

A loan would only make sense if there was an option to buy which Bayern don’t seem very keen on. If anything I can see Chelsea, City or Spurs paying up.
