Mathys Tel

If I’m Dwaine Maynard, I would probably argue Mane played for the second best team in England which was ran and managed well.

Marcus plays for an absolute shite show of a club where most players fail but when they are most successful it’s because Rashford is playing well and the team are set up to support him.

I’d argue Mane would not of outperformed Rashford in the same circumstances.

Just if I was building a case for Rashford as much as I want him gone you can’t argue he’s not a top player.
You really can and it’s not excuses about having good teams around him. You only have to look at the lack of efforts, the body language, the lack of effort in training and the nights out to know that Rashford is not a top player. Top players are professionals as well as good footballers.

Wow I did not expect this amount of money at all.

I generally would prefer if we only loaned him out (he is still only 19) but for that sum we should sell him.

I would expect there is a significant bonus component to that figure, maybe 40m euro plus 20m add ons. Still would be a decent profit for a player Bayern seem fine with losing.

With a player this age a bonus-heavy deal makes sense to cover both sides. And this is Daniel Levy you're negotiating with.

Course it would, selling Garnacho at £80m alone is good business, add Tel on loan with an option would only add to it.

I honestly don't see Zirkzee and Hojlund being the long term attacking options at United.
That's fair, but Tel hasn't looked much better than them. So bringing him in as a replacement is every bit as much a risk. And I don't think you can expect a 19yo on loan to set the world alight either

Be surprised if he doesn't go to Spurs as it looks like they are prepared to offer permanent deal

Selling Garnacho for £80m and bringing in Tel on loan with an option to buy for €60m would be good business.

Also gives us a strong hand when hopefully looking to offload Zirkzee in summer, without leaving us short in attack.
It wouldn’t be good business at all

Fecking Hell, I'd be all for taking him on loan but we shouldn't be going anywhere near a permanent deal at that price.

Where did the £80mn figure come from? Nobody would even pay £60mn and I think Napoli were trying to get it down to £50 or so.

Is he able to play as a creative No.10, as well as a centre forward? He’d be definitely worth a shot if so.

50m? No thank you.

Haven't seen much of him but how on earth are Bayern making profit with this guy after refusing to play regulary for two years?!

I don't think he is a creative no.10. He'd probably be like Rashford or Garnacho with pace and direct running?

That's a BIG fee

Yeah we probably won't get him at this rate. The fee is too high and Bayern would push him to take the Spurs offer instead of a loan + option to buy with us. If we matched the fee with an obligation to buy in the summer they'll happily accept but all the Bayern fans on reddit can't believe they're getting that much for him, so probably too much to pay.

That is pretty cheap, he's a phenomenal talent in my opinion - I just never thought anyone would be able to prize him away but I guess he's bored of waiting behind Kane

Could see us going back in for Nkunku if he goes to Spurs as seems concrete interest in both
