Mathys Tel

The problem is he wants guranteed game time. Thats a red flag.
I'd imagine he'd be playing both as a striker and one of the AMs so plenty of chances for him to play given we're not exactly spoiled for choice.

An electrifying hybrid of Louis Saha and Sadio Mane or a poundland Gervinho. Just how good is Mathys Tel?

Sounds like it only picks up if Garnacho leaves. Chelsea may decide for Tel over Garnacho themselves. Bayern also want Nkunku, so I wonder if there's some musical chair potential.

Napoli going for Garnacho makes it interesting, because then Chelsea would probably put all eggs in the Tel basket.

Apparently Tel isn’t keen on Chelsea.

No one hould have a guaranteed game time. He should fight for his game time. We have a similar and it looks like he is leaving.
He has more chance of getting game time with us because of our lack of options upfront, that's the idea picking us over Chelsea,.

Arsenal in need for forward and Tel can play in all 3 attacking positions so could be them in the end. United if Garnacho leaves this window. At Spurs he should get plenty of games with Solanke out and Son being older now.

We are lacking options in the front 3. Specially since Rashford is no longer an option. We only have either Zhirkee or Hojlund as an option off the bench, none of them fill you with any optimism that they will come on and do something positive. Signing him on loan even will give us a body upfront and a profile who is technical with pace and dribbling ability which we severely lack.

We don't need another young striker who's unproven in the PL.

Yeah I agree, I don't mind our move to signing younger talents throughout the squad as I know we are in a building process. But I do feel like up front is one position where we need a bit of know how and experience.

Although I suppose if it's just a loan and the option is that or nothing then you never know, he might come in and click, be a bit of a livewire up front.

I mean, if it's a loan I'm not at all averse to it.

He's young and supposedly very talented; a six-month loan would give him precisely the opportunity to showcase whether he'll be ready to make the step up.

We could really do with another option up front, and the fact that he can play on the left is probably no bad thing either. Whilst it's not his preferred role, having a player in the left forward role who's a natural forward may work to Zirkzee's strengths if not Hojlund's.

When I saw him he looked class. Surprised it hasn't worked out but maybe it's a case of moving too soon and being too good for bench minutes.

He's better than Hojlund and Zirkzee.
