Thought he was good. One of his better appearances since he signed.

He's a combination player. In patterns of play and sequences with a set structure he's going to do the right thing. The better the team gets, the more useful he will be. On his own, however, pretty invisible.

He played well today. You could see why he is a good fit for the system Amorim wants to play with the runs that he was making. He kept getting into positions to cut the ball back and wasn’t getting the ball. If they can start getting that right, it’s going to create so many chances.

Thought he was good today especially in the second half. Would have been nice to see him playing next to Amad instead of Antony but hopefully we will get to see that setup on Sunday.

Played well, more game time and maybe this system might work out well for him.
I'm thinking the same. If he can stay fit, I think there's a chance we could see the Mason Mount of 3-4 years ago under Amorim in this system.

Actually yeah to be fair Amad would hopefully be a huge help to him and he for Amad too. Could be an interesting partnership.

He’s never been a bad player, the frustration with him has always come from fitness

Need his shooting boot on. That was an open goal.

Edit: acknowledging that he's been injured for almost a year or so. Like Malacia, it will take games to get back to their best.

Looked more like the player we saw at Chelsea 3 or 4 years ago. Hoping he stays fit and moves forward. Looks like he is made for Amorim.

Staying fit is his main concern. He's got a coach and a system now that might just ignite his United Fuse

Managers love Mason Mount for a reason. Nippy, smart, technical and creative.

Let's all just keep our fingers crossed with his fitness. Only annoying thing is that if he gets any sort of run then Tuchel will probably call him up very quickly.

One of the more obvious beneficiaries of the change in system, and even more so if Amorim shows a willingness to keep using Bruno in CM.

Just needs to stay fit and there's an obvious route into the first choice starting eleven for him.

He had it tough linking up with My left foot Antony. It must be really hard to base your whole link up around making sure it lands on his left foot.

He reminds me a lot of Kagawa at United. Some nice touches but I'm still waiting to see the attacking threat that you'd expect from a number 10.

He hit the bar in his first game back. He’ll be a really good player for us if he can actually stay fit for longer than a few weeks at a time. He could actually become one of our best players. ETH was unlucky he wasn’t able to use him more.

If that was Bruno, people would be fuming that he didn't make the 5 yard pass to his teammate who was unmarked to the right of him.

I think the issue is that everyone thinks he's a 10
We've tried him in the 8 and he looked lost. He doesn't have the defensive awareness to play deep.

Yeah, you’d never send out Mount by himself against 11 players.

Good at pressing and I thought his movement around the box and running in channel down the right was good too. Problem was Antony tends to dwell on the ball and get crowded out instead of playing Mount into space. I’m sure he would connect much better with Amad or Mazraoui.

Really encouraging performance. He'll play loads under Amorim as long as he can stay fit which is the big if, as he's quite good in tight spaces, he's a smart player, and he plays with excellent energy and physicality that we generally lack.
