A piss poor signing yet improves the squad? One of these things is not like the others, mate.He was a piss poor signing but if he can stay fit he improves our squad

It feels like there's no danger when Mount has the ball. With Garnacho, although he sometimes fecked up, that feeling is there.
As a defender, I'd prefer facing Mount than Garna.
This is what I see too, I don’t have much faith of him having much of an impact if he stays fitBit like Lingard, pass and move player. Won't do anything on the ball and prefers being off it to pop up in moments.
No it just highlights how piss poor our options are.A piss poor signing yet improves the squad? One of these things is not like the others, mate.
I think you're right. The sad thing is so many of our players have good qualities that are offset by negatives, and when you try and alter the balance it often just creates another problem. I rate Mount as a more composed, intelligent player than Garnacho but I don't feel like he's going to do much other than press and be reasonably neat with the ball. Garnacho on the other hand is quick and more dynamic but has no composure and is so inconsistent. It feels like there's no danger when Mount has the ball. That's not what he said.No it just highlights how piss poor our options are.
I really like the guy and hope he stays fit. A brief 15-20 min period when we went full ballers FC with Mount, Zirkzee, Mainoo and Bruno was really fun. I hope we get to see more of that against Newcastle.
He said it's a piss poor signing that could improve us.That's not what he said.

I'd still like to see Mount get a run in the team though.
That is generous. Garnacho does more wrong than right. Mount is also way more of a team player. At that attacking midfielder position i would prefer Mount.
I agree that if i was defender i rather face Mount than Garnacho when i could pick one who would run at me with the ball. However Mount wont run at the defender with the ball. Instead Mount passes to a teammate, runs forward and will receive the ball back. That has a much higher succesrate than Garnacho his running and attempting a shot. I also like that Mount is willing to pass the ball while Garnacho will only pass the ball if he really has no other options.
He doesn't improve us at all. Comeon mate, two seasons and he's only got what? One or two goals and the same number of assists? Absolute bollocks. He said it's a piss poor signing that could improve us.
That means that despite him being a piss poor signing, he'd still improve on us, ergo we've got a worse than piss poor squad with piss poor options
That is absolute nonsense, Garnacho has way more goals and assists than Mount despite doing what you think is a worse way of playing. That is generous. Garnacho does more wrong than right. Mount is also way more of a team player. At that attacking midfielder position i would prefer Mount.

Mount was a far better player than Garnacho at the same stage of his careerThat is absolute nonsense, Garnacho has way more goals and assists than Mount despite doing what you think is a worse way of playing.
We signed him for a massive fee and on huge wages off the back of the worst form /run of injuries in his career. It was mental to sign him at that price particularly given his contract was running down.A piss poor signing yet improves the squad? One of these things is not like the others, mate.
I still don't see it.
I still don't see it.
Or for the opposition.Every game he's not injured is a little win for us.
Probably start ThursdayIt's a lot of money for 15 minute cameos, get the lad on the field the start so he can start repaying us with performances. Today was the perfect opportunity to get him on the field, no idea why he didn't start.
That would require someone buying him. Who would buy a player that’s never fit?Get him gone in the summer. Not good enough and to injury prone. Seems a nice lad, however get him gone
Or on an inflated salary, he is here smiling and being the nice guy until his contract is complete. That would require someone buying him. Who would buy a player that’s never fit?
In his defence, whenever he has played I’ve really liked what I’ve seen. He’s just never fit, I think his minutes amount to something like 13 full games.Or on an inflated salary, he is here smiling and being the nice guy until his contract is complete.
Injuries aside, what has he done? I can't remember a moment, a truly appalling signing.
The amount of love he gets from English fans, pundits and EtH and Amorim really amaze me. Much of a nothing player, is neat, tidy and hard working but can't change games.

Should have specified English United fans, they seem to think he's some top bloke and only reason he hasnt been a succes is because of his fitness. He has never impressed for more than 45 mins, whether pre-season.England fans don’t want him anywhere near the team. Nice guy but nowhere near good enough to play as a starter for a top team.
