Not really a headbutt let's be honest.

He puts his head down and Aguero sneakily walks into him. Daft as he got played so deserved the red.

The fact people think he was playing well is more annoying than the red card.

The amount of times Rashford ran in behind and Fellaini was literally too scared to play the pass.

A Man Utd player who is too scared to pass the ball, and he gets praised for it...and then the same people moan that we're in 5th place.
It's weird isn't it. People moan that we're boring, or slow, or not even in the top 4, and then come and defend Fellaini and even go as far to say he's played well. It's as if they are oblivious to how it's all related.

Love him or hate him. He's a massive loss for the next 3 games.

The difference between Fellaini's one tonight and those other "heads pressing together" stuff that goes on, was that Fellaini had to drop his head down to Aguero to make contact.

Yes, Aguero made the most of it, but he saw the movement of Fellaini's head. Other occasions players just walk into each other.

It was simply dumb and unnecessary.

Wait wasn't the narrative that Mourinho changed them, especially Mkhitaryan, into real super champions who could now finally deal with the technical details of the premier league that kept overwhelmig them before Mou's touch of enlightment?

Oh wait, that's only when they've played well.

Mourinho, what a horrendous manager who has now shown he doesn't know where to out his faih in after the hilarious defending and talking up of his darling Fellaini. How many times.

I don't know, if you took your head out of Pep's ass you could probably notice that sometimes people here have different opinions.

Immediately after a booking?

That doesn't make it a red though? Both with a yellow and him off would have been the right call.

Just laughable how many want to come in here have an anger wank against our own player and defend such scummy action from a city one. If that was Herrera like feck they'd do the same.

He didnt play well but neither did the rest of the team

Aguero is a cnut and it wasnt even a headbutt

Stupid red and now he's out against Swansea, Arsenal and Tottenham.

Looks like he'll be playing in all the EL games if Jose forgives him

A-fecking-men!

What a stupid player, only redeeming thing is until his sending off he was playing well. Should be fined 2 weeks wages and we should consider his future for next year.

Hopefully poga will be back soon.

What's with all the shite in here such as "oh now everyone will hate him again" etc. What the actual feck? Who ever said they liked him? The most I have done is tolerate him simply because I have to. I imagine that's how the majority feel.

It doesn't make it a red but it makes it incredibly stupid. Which I think is all everybody's saying. Of course we'd have said the same for Herrera.

Yeah, would have to agree with that. He was fine defensively for the most part and put in some good tackles, but he offered very little when it came to attack, which is quite problematic since we were trying to play something resembling a counter-attacking style. Why are we depending on someone who's game is largely very slow and inaccurate when we're playing on the counter?

Sky just showed it many times. It's certainly a headbutt.

It doesn't have to be a Zidane full force job to count as one!

Is Aguero headbutting Felliani too then? Aguero is moving towards Fellaini which makes the contact look bad when Fellaini lowers his head.

What game did you watch? He was horrible.

Definitely this. I'm shocked that some here is defending his performance !

Our expectations of player's performance has fallen very deep.

He did ok, and if I had a chance to stick the nut on that slimmey little tosser I would take it as well

Did you watch the game tonight? Yeah he got a red card, but he had a really good game.
He was terrible in the first half, he was so slow to react that other players like Martial had to cover for him. He grew into the game a bit in the second half but only because Jose set us up to defend with discipline and he stopped roaming around.

How the feck are people defending him? He's fecking shite. One of the worst players I've seen at this club.

He did okay. Not his role to do what you're suggesting, he's shit at it and its clear as day Jose has instructed him to keep it simple. Thats why he's a squad player or at least should be if we had more midfielders

Or if you took yours of Mourinho's you could maybe see that mine is fine where it is, namely far away from Pep's ass taking selfies with yours going scubadiving in the digestions of the finest Portuguese cuisine from Manchester.

He did exactly what Mourinho wanted him to do. No doubt about that.

Always capable of doing something stupid that can cost us. Not good enough a player for us to forgive him too much either.

Again though, least he didn't hide like a couple of players I can think of whose names begin with M.

Yep. He's simply not up to United standard.

Can't disagree with the second part, although it's very generous to Aguero saying that was a headbutt. A pathetic reaction. If he was going off he should've done it properly.

Red card aside.. why do some people think he was good or decent? Could be me but i though he was shit even before he was send off? What exactly did he do what was good? The only moment i remember was Rashford making a decent run but he just passed it sideways.

Mourinho just said it's a borderline between a red card and a very smart, experienced Argentinian player.

Fellaini is a fool. He shouldn't be falling into such trap. Aguero baited him and he fell for it like a whore.

Did you watch the game tonight? Yeah he got a red card, but he had a really good game.

He really didn't though, that's the point. Every time he wins a couple of balls and keeps it simple people pretend he did really well. The bar is so much lower for him than anyone else.

He gets praised for the sort of limited performances that Schneiderlin got binned for.

Don't be silly, we haven't done shit the whole match and it wouldn't have changed till the very end.

Blaming Fellaini for being utterly thick is fine for me, trying to push down this narrative that he's cost us anything today is downright silly. Had we lost, he would.

True. That was a bit of my optimistic side showing. Lingard had came on for Martial, who was terrible up until he was about to be subbed.

Is Aguero headbutting Felliani too then? Aguero is moving towards Fellaini which makes the contact look bad when Fellaini lowers his head.

I don't know why you want to argue the minutiae of it.

I don't mind Fellaini, and see his strengths, so i'm not one of these ranters, but that was ridiculous. Of course it wasn't so hard it'd kill him, but you've seen red cards for way less than that.

Answer me this, do you think there's even 1% of getting that rescinded?

Or if you took yours of Mourinho's you could maybe see that mine is fine where it is, namely far away from Pep's ass taking selfies with yours going scubadiving in the digestions of the finiest Portuguese cuisine from Manchester.

If you deluding yourself even further helps you sleep better at night then so be it. Hope it's warm there for you at least.

Absolutely and a complete liability. A stupid red card or a stupid foul is always around the corner. Perfectly sums up our current season in the league
