He looks worse in the new system than he ever has before. Sorry Marcus, I'd love to see you make a miraculous comeback but let's face it, it isn't going to happen.
I think they shut down that tax nonsense unfortuanetly for the likes of us trying to flog overpaid dross such as this.I feel like Italy makes the most sense for him (wages can probably be almost matched with their tax nonsense, slower defenders), not sure what club, though.

I genuinely don't see any realistic paid transfer for him outside of Saudi. He seems to enjoy the high life so, maybe he'd go for it? God knows.
Chris Wheeler saying our asking price is £40m...
I'm not sure who would pay that & pick up his wages.Chris Wheeler saying our asking price is £40m...
If anybody gets close to our asking price I can see us covering a good (bad) proportion of his wages.Too much. Wed have to ask for £25m and pay out some of his contract.
Maybe he would like to join Ruud in the midlands?I'm not sure who would pay that & pick up his wages.
Can’t believe we didn’t sell him after his wonder season… would have got at least 80m for him back then. Now we’ll be lucky to get 80 pound
I would take him ripping up his contract by mutual agreement to be honest. Let him sort out his own deal as a free transfer.I'm not sure who would pay that & pick up his wages.
Maybe Ruud can loan him for a season, get him to perform and up his value.I'm not sure who would pay that & pick up his wages.
That’s not a real world scenario.I would take him ripping up his contract by mutual agreement to be honest. Let him sort out his own deal as a free transfer.
18m a year off the balance sheet and no more entitled expressions from him.
Have always been a Rashford stan, he has such a unique set of skills and I thought he'll really kick it off after that amazing season he had. But alas, he goes back to being the inconsistent kid we have been accustomed to. He's 27 now and I don't see him ever living up to his "potential".
Wonder who will take him off our hands, other than PSG, I can't really see anyone else. As for his replacement, Kavara looks like the perfect wide 10 in Amorim's system.
This.I couldn’t care less about a new lease of life elsewhere. I’d literally have zero interest in any future club.
Just get him out of ours
Spot on. Being consistently cack is worse than being inconsistently good. People need to start realising Rashford is the former. Is he even inconsistent? When I think of inconsistent wingers I think of somebody like Nani, who got a lot of stick himself in his time here. Rashford is just consistently disappointing, I actually wouldn't mind if he turned up and ran some full back ragged once every three games.
I doubt it'll happen while he's our top scorer in the league
Agreed, we certainly need his form continue to build on his important four league goals against Everton, Ipswich and Southampton, hopefully that will be enough to avoid the relegation battles come at the end of the season.
I'm not saying we shouldnt. I'm saying we probably wont
We'll probably keep him until someone else is scoring more than he is in the league
Sorry, can you plz remind me of his glory days? Or you mean one good season where we played counter attacking all the time? Without that system and his pace which eventually will slow down in couple of years' time, he is a bang average footballer, always was and always will be. Should have sold him for 80m plus after that good season he had and invested in someone with a bit of brain and desire. We will be lucky to get 40m now.I used to defend him, I used to be a big fan waiting for his glory days to return, now I hope he has played his last minute in a Utd shirt, he seriously does not deserve another chance, would rather give Wheatley, Obi or Biancheri his minutes, or even recall Hugill at least they would be arsed and they could not be any worse
Harsh. He burst onto the scene under LVG, he outshone Lukaku under Jose, was a star for Ole and main man under ETH. I’m a big fan of Marcus, but really I have to concede he probably isn’t the answer anymore - if he ever was!Sorry, can you plz remind me of his glory days?
