Marcus Rashford (Out) | Rashford: “For me, personally, I think I'm ready for a new challenge and the next steps.”

Good luck to him whenever he lands. Disappointed by his attitude, both on the pitch and in seemingly not being up to the challenge of fighting for his place. However, seeing a young Manchester kid come through and end up 12th on the club's all-time top scorer list has been a joy for the most part, and it's best he leaves now before the good memories are completely overshadowed. Hope we get good money for him!

Some nice words but I found this bit in particular contradictory to what we've seen
I’m also someone as I’ve got older I can deal with setbacks. What am I going to do about it? Sit there and cry about it. Or do my best the next time I’m available.

It’s a perfectly reasonable interview. Hopefully he can leave without it getting bitter. He’s probably run out of road at United, but the highs were very high.

He will not join a PL side out of respect, I believe.
Those comments strongly indicate something's planned already, would be stupid otherwise.

People keep mentioning PSG but I could actually see it being Milan. They seem to absolutely love players who weren’t quite up to it in the PL but can go to Serie A and thrive. We’ve sold them Pulisic and Tomori and they now have Tammy Abraham as well. He’d fit right in there and probably do really well.

There wont be hard feelings on my part either. Whatever about the footballer, i have nothing but good things to say about the person.

PSG seems to be the lazy link but it could work given that Ramos and Kolo Muani have both been useless. Can see him, Barcola, and Dembele as a front three.

If there is something lined up in January then I can only see it been a loan, with us paying a lump of his wages.

I'm going, but be aware, my best is yet to come.

It's sad in some respects, but simultaneously it's the best news to come out of the club in terms of actual change happening, for a very long time. Yes we've gotten rid of underperforming players over the past decade, but Rashford was the poster child that remained despite unexcusable performances season in, season out.

His contact is until is 2028 and on ridiculously high wages. While it can be argue it would be best for the player and club to part ways what new club would be able to afford him?

He's 7 goals off cracking the top 10 of our all time goal scorers. He's just behind Ronaldo and David Herd. If he's stays until the end of the season he might do it.

i was thinking this. Either PSG who've been after him for awhile (and tbh i think he'd do well in the french league) or saudi

He knows the club want him out, he will find a compromise somewhere

Sounds like he’s off then. Feels like he’s trying to jump before he’s pushed.

I wonder if it means something is already being sorted.

Crazy that he’s doing this interview now! You’d have to assume he’s gone in January?!

Actually feel really sad about it.

Obvious shout is PSG and he'd probably do well there. Otherwise Saudi could be an option if he cares more about money than his career.

Failing that the only option would be heavily subsidised wages or low transfer fee to compensate I would guess.

He has been really bad and the effort has not been there at all.
But damn i will be sad when he goes, few players i was hoping more for to become a United great than him in the last decade.

Also seems like a really good person, so will always wish him to have success, just wished he would have it with us.

Sad that it has come to this. Even more sad that Marcus appears to have accepted it and isn’t going to fight for this club or his spot in our team. What a shame.
Not everyone is Maguire, I cant say I'm surprised this place is like 80+ percent against him and it's like that elsewhere....

He doesn't have the gumption to fight.
and it's amazing that those that rinse him the most take this as another opportunity to fire a shot.... nah it's actually not, it's as predictable as the sunrise....

He does seem to get affected a lot by what people say about him. Just wish he could have blocked out the noise and concentrated on being a footballer. All the best to him and it's a shame he isn't able to turn things around and fight for his place.

End of the day where does he fit in this team? Tried him at CF and no good, WB won’t work, 10 won’t work. Makes sense to cash in.
